I think it is 93 days (which you have to pay for), but if she doesnt move out after the 93 days she then becomes responsible for payments and then theres a whole other route to vacating her from the property (not to sure about that stuff though).
I was under the impression that if a couple are having problems, you can move back to the block for a short while (3 months springs to mind, but dont quote me on that) to 'work through your problems' and then either move back in or go down the 93 day route.

My OH and I are getting married Feb 2010. We're currently living in rented accommodation but are thinking about moving into a quarter when we're married, mainly because we dont have a deposit for our own place plus Im out in 4 years and we think quarter are cheaper than our rent. If they are then we can save for a house deposit for when I come out.
Can anyone give me a rough idea of how much the rent is? I've asked around at work but most people have there own places.0 -
It depends on the area and the grade of house and the size you will need. We pay £125 a month for our 3 bed semi detached which is a grade 3 at Waddington. I think this is very reasonable and works out a hell of a lot cheaper for us.0

OMG that is so cheap!! I'm at Kinloss and they have quarters in Elgin and Kinloss. We don't really want to live in Elgin but some of the Kinloss ones are behind the wire and we dont really fancy that either. Can you specify an area of choice? We would only need a 2 or 3 bed as dont have any kids 3 bed would be nice for any family that one to come and visit.
How do we find out what grade they all are? I tried to find the number for DHE on camp but I couldnt find it anywhere.0 -
You will find out what grade it is when you get an offer from DE for your quarter.

Don't rule out living behind the wire, the house and car insurance comes cheaper, also I feel a lot safer especially when my husband is away. Also when my son is old enough to go out to play by himself, I know he will be relatively safe. Yes, sometimes its a pain having to show your pass each time you enter, but I think for the added security it's great.
On our camp, you can leave things out on the front and you know they will still be there in the morning. Bikes are often left. You can also go away for long periods and know your house is safe.0 -
Elgin most of them are new build with garages so will be grade 1 rent which is a lot more. We pay 67 a month for a 2 bed grade 4. xx0
