My Energy use Diary

I'm gas and electric
I come as 'D' as I can't divide by the number of people in the household.
Driver - no passengers.
One of the questions is 'why is my rating so low?' Apparently this is a statistical issue as those showing an interest are likely to be more efficient. More members might get my energy rating up!!:j0 -
I'm now 14/19
.
Memo to self - put readings in early monday again and don't check back when everyone else has put theirs in.0 -

I've just put my readings in for last week
I'm ranked 1/19
have used 135 kwh
which costs £16.20 (although my figure is £13.60)
71kg CO2
I don't have a carbon reading as haven't been on site for 4 weeks yet.
I am an all electric house with oil for water and heat.
I put the comparison for same number of occupants all households
Daytime units used - 110 = 12.40
Nighttime units used - 25 = 1.20
Apart from DH being back at work everything has been the same as the previous week, and my washer still isn't fixed. My self & hubby; 2 sons (30 & 27). Hubby also a found daughter (38).
Eldest son has his own house with partner & her 2 children (12 & 10)
Youngest son & fiancé now have own house.
So we’re empty nesters.
Daughter married with 3 boys (13, 10 & 6).
My mother always served up leftovers we never knew what the original meal was. - Tracey Ulman0 -
Not that I'm obsessed with this or anything ... but I'm now 16/19. But if I change from houses with kids to just gas/elec households I'm ranked 6/19.
If I do all households with same number of occupants, I'm 17/19 although I'm compared with 0 households. Don't get it.

Magentasue, I didn't get it either, so I played about with the settings and it looks like there are only 85 households who have been recording data for a minimum of 4 weeks, so the chance of finding a household identical to your own is very slim. Maybe best stick to all households, all types and then switch it to similar circumstances once the site picks up a bit and gathers more support. A couple of the settings I tried had comparisons against 0 other households. It's early days yet and I'm sure their system will improve as it becomes wider known
