Please help. can i cook my xmas pud in the slow cooker????

I always do my Christmas pud in the slow cooker too, it frees up the rest of the cooker on the day and de-frazzles me as well! I just bung it in with some water round the side of the basin and usually put it on Low overnight. I just leave it cooking until I finally remember it after the vast quantities of turkey and wine etc have been devoured, I don't think leaving it on for a long time on a slow temperature does it any harm.

I always never make my puds, always buy them, not very OS I know but at this time of year keeping my sanity is more important to me :xmassmile
