Silly question number 49 - are you sure it's not in your MR book?
My two books both say high - but they are for older machines.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. First thing I did was to check the book... nothing about puddings.. and then did a search on here.. again could not see anything.. delia does not mention it.. but knew someone must know.. thank you for all your help.. it's on high for the next 12 hours.0

Just out of interest, how do you store a christmas pud until xmas after you've made it.0

Delia say's... Keep it in a cool place away from the light. Under the bed in an unheated bedroom is ideal....
I put mine in the cupboard under the stairs which is dark and cool.0 -

There was quite a difference in cooking times when I googled - but the ones about 2 pints or so all said around twelve hours. Smaller ones would do on high in just 5-6 hours. (or, at a guess, on low for 12
)
