Hope you had a happy Christmas Lucielle, and miggy, and thank you for all your positive thoughts. I was a bit caught up in things - but managed to have an ultra-budget Christmas and no one seemed to notice too badly. News on my book... first agent said he was very touched by the story, etc, but felt it was not commercial enough for his agency, which is fair enough. It sounds like sour grapes now of course, but I was a bit worried about how they might have handled the marketing etc because they are a big "starry" agency. So... onwards! I'm sending it off to six new agents (not just one this time!) and I hope one of them will want to take it on. I need it for my daughter, for her story to be told, and for other parents who have gone through what we have.

Hope everyone is ok. Sorry not to have updated in a long time.

Good to hear at least some positive feeedback even if it wasn't what was hoped for. Well done on the spending front. I did quite well until 24th - when i did all my Christmas shopping :rolleyes:

Happy new year everyone! I'm feeling quite positive about this year (no idea WHY?!) and hope everyone else is too. We're getting there I feel. All four children are back to school tomorrow and I am making my action plan for the week.

Thank you miggy, George and lucielle for those positive comments about my book. I'm sending it off to new agents in the next couple of days and crossing my fingers like mad...
