It does - took me a while to work it out when I first saw it...
Everywhere there is a heading "Creditor" the ones grouped under that heading are linked - eg HSBC and First Direct and Co-op and Smile.
So where there is a new "Creditor" heading, that is a new group of linked creditors
Phew! :rotfl:
I thought the tablets were getting to me again, my words are just tripping out lately. I feel like an old granny!0 -

Nothing strange from me. I got information from Studio Cards today on the charges I had paid to them. I had paid them 5 x £20 so I'm claiming that plus interest which brings it up to £112. :j I owe them about £180 so this would go a long way to clearing that.
Have any of you got any experience of Full and Final Settlement Offers? I was wondering if I could be sneaky on this one? The Studio debt is with Robinson Way. They get £4.21 a month. Would it be worth contacting them to see if they would accept say £90 as F and F S? My thinking is that if they accept £112 or below I could get this debt cleared through a refund of charges. Has anyone done this?
My plan is that if I got rid of this one small debt then it would be one less creditor. OK £4.21 a month isn't a heck of a lot to offer to the rest but every little helps and I would then set about looking for ways to wipe out another small one - maybe Next (£500ish)
Just a quicky, if they accept a f & F, does this mean you wont get defaulted???

I think I may have made a mistake in where I applied for my new account in that case. I have a virgin MBNA card and applied for a Halifax basic account. They are affliliated with Royal Bank of Scotland aren't they?
Now am worried about how it looks applying for two accounts in such short space of time. I have debt with egg, barclays, smile, co-op and MBNA (Virgin and A&L. ) Will I be able to get a bank account at all?0 -

Halifax are linked to Bank of Scotland - this is different to Royal Bank of Scotland who are linked with Natwest

Oh, I have a thought. OH has an MBNA credit card and banks with Alliance and Leicester, which is safe at the moment as the cc is not an Alliance and Leicester one.
However, if Abbey buy Alliance and Leicester, they are linked to MBNA (as shown on the above list). Does that mean the Alliance and Leicester account could be dipped into by MBNA?

Halifax are related to Bank of Scotland not Royal Bank of Scotland - so you are safe so long as Egg is not related to Halifax.
Does anyone know who Egg are?0 -
