Wish I was on a beach right now .. have visions of HSBC still being able to find me there too though!

Just had my 6th call of the day, and I am doing what I am told in telling them CCCS are now involved and I have sent them a letter of Authority etc and they keep getting sarcastic saying they wont deal with CCCS and will only deal with me. When I ask them to put everything in writing (which after a complaint letter they said they would do) they refuse saying they are going to keep ringing me until I make an arrangement to suit them!

They make me feel like I have done nothing, considering I made all my payments up to 2 months ago, and have sent them recorded delivery my SOA (5 months ago) and had 2 offers declined AND I have been paying as much in as I can to the loan account as goodwill (£100 out of the £154 overdue payment)

If this is being sympathetic and helpful I would hate to see what nasty was like. One guy was actually shouting at me so much I had to pass him to my mum I was so upset as he kept accusing me of stealing the banks money 2 days after my first missed payment :mad:

And what adds insult to injury .. I was so wound up I forgot I was roasting my weird veggie selection for my wacky ratatouille and they are now all burnt

Anyway, sorry for the rant .. more beach talk! I really fancy a Mr Whippy 99 now :rotfl:

Hi Ossireo, really sorry that you are having to put up with C**P from HSBC, I really do not know where these people get off by behaving like this!
I had an awful call with Mercers (to do with BCard) yesterday morning saying that BCard will not accept any type of offer now as it has gone over 3 months (2 actually) and it is my debt so deal with it! I had been speaking with BCard over the last 2 months keeping them informed about PP and they seemed fine - have now turned the heavies onto me!
This rather awful women I spoke to yesterday said it was now too late for anything and they are sending collectors round to my house to recover the debt. I just dont know how people like this can sleep at night!!!
I do know that these people will not listen to anything you have to say as they are on comission for collecting any type of payment from you, hence their complete rudeness and disregard for peoples feelings!
I have actually today put together a letter of complaint to BCard regarding the treatment I recd on the phone yesterday and the threat of the heavy mob, dispite being a Bcard customer for over 20 years and keeping them up to date with my situationn. I have said to BCard, are you are aware these are the type of people represententing your Company and do you agree with it.
I was really upset yesterday, so know how you feel - they are nothing but low lifes trying to make money out of peoples misery!

I did write a letter of complaint to HSBC a while back and they responded saying they will address all matters by post .. but of course that's not happened, they haven't sent me one letter yet, I just get up to 10 calls a day :mad:

Same as you I have always paid everything on time and had this credit when I was in full time work on a good wage. Then they are like this after 1 missed payment lol I'm a lone parent on Income Support atm. When I was made redundant in 2007 I maintained full payments for 7 months struggling to make my tiny redundancy payment last .. when you get treated like this it makes me wonder why on earth did I bother when I could have been buying food for myself instead of relying on mum for scraps lol

I have no doubt they wont accept CCCS offer, but going to stick it out while I look for work .. they cant have what I don't have after all.

Lets all hold on tight for the bumpy ride and I know we will all get through the other side :beer:

Just a quickie poking my head in. Enjoyed reading all the threads. I hate shopping too, all manner of it, food, clothes, anything. My sons always say I lose my sense of humour as soon as I walk into a supermarket.

Still meat free, into week 2 now but yearning for some chicken!

anyhow...mrs lmw gave birth to a boster 7lb girl again 2 girls and a boy now...eve and mom are doing well - both taking a well deserved rest.
