If CCCS are sending the information to the wrong address then why not print it off and send it to the correct address yourself (recorded so you know when they've got it). When I was startig up my DMP I pestered my creditors as much as they pestered me to make sure they couldn't deny knowing my situation.DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0

Jvic, It might not be the wrong address - I sent all of my letters to the addresses where my statesments were sent from....and this is where CCCS sent all the proposal letters too.
Big companies often have different departments in different areas, so that's nothing unusual - you just have to wait for them to catch up with each other!!
But in the meantime, it could be worth the OP checking which address the letter should be sent to and explain which address it has gone to - just to show that it has been sent..!Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Do credit card companies offer a breakdown of the balance and payments made each month or do I have to ask for a whole load of statements?
Just I wish to check that my DMP payments are being made to them all, I do not get a statement from Capital One or Westcot anymore.Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
Franny, I'm sure that capital one and Westcot would be in touch if they weren't receiving their payments...!
All of my CC creditors send me a statement to show the amount going down - but my NR loan doesnt - I just know that it is going to them.
CCCS send a monthly statement to show where the money has gone to.Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Yey!! YIPPEE!!0 -
Hi folks new and old!
Spoke to CCCS on the phone this evening ... what a relief. We needed an urgent review of our budget. The good news is that our payments have come down a bit - of course the bad news is that at the current rate it will take 8 years and 3 months to repay all our debt.
Still, never mind eh? We just need to concentrate on the here and now. We had to pay out an emergency payment for our central heating to be fixed and we've been allowed to pay £5 token payments to our creditors for this month. I have got a receipted invoice for the plumbing work done and I was fretting so much because creditors will just think that it was for "Christmas" purposes. The counsellor said that they may well think that, but as I have evidence of the payment out, I shouldnt worry too much about it all.
So, deep breaths. Another hurdle out of the way. Still not quite sure how we are going to manage to get over the hurdle of Christmas itself yet but in 26 more sleeps, that wont be a worry any more :rotfl: !!!!
How many of you actually use a spending diary and find it effective? We really need to see where every single penny goes because we should be able to manage alright on our budget, but it just isnt happening as well as I/we hoped it would. The only other idea I can think of is an actual spending diary
I CCA'd one of the creditors who were seriously threatening to take us to Court and have heard nothing back ... it's been 12 days + 2days + 9 days now ... and still have heard nothing. I'm not even entirely sure what I'm supposed to do about that now, I just wanted them to stop any court action - we are doing what we can to pay back the debt. So, fingers crossed they cannot produce a signed copy of the credit agreement and they will now just accept the payments being offered.
I've already started with the "next year, we're going to be more proactive in kicking this debt into touch ..." (reclaiming bank charges is top of the list!) I just need to crawl quietly through the rest of this year (okay, this month!) and stay focussed on the goal of getting through Christmas without incurring any more debt ... I'm sure it can be done ... many others seem to do it
Good luck on your journey everyone - I'm so glad of your support on here to help me (and mine) through it all.

Me again!! Had another letter from yorkshire bank. (we have 3 seperate acc on our DMP with thm) and this is for another one. It says the same again, 'we are disappointed we have had no response from you it as now been passed to our collection dept repayment proposals please ring blah blah blah' its the same as the other day. All our other creditors have had cccs letters but YB are saying they have no record of owt! Its really winding me up. This one is in DH name so I cant ring he will have to try when gets home if still open.
Was wondering although CCCS said the other acc they are resending shall i send anothr letter to them saying the cccs ref number and payment proposal etc..? I just think its YB that are either losing loads of letters or just not bothering to deal corretly with.Even when i rung they seemed to have no knowledge of it.
any ideas, again !! thanks in advance xJust a mum trying to make things happen!0 -
Hi MOAM,
It's Lloyds TSB who are the thorn in my side  .
I reply to every letter I get in writing and staple a copy to the letter in my files. This way if they ever go down the legal route I can prove they are lying every time they write "we are disappointed to have no response, blah, blah" and show I have sent them the same information over and over again.
I've concluded they aren't being awkward they are just completely incompetent. I had a letter accepting the DMP and a week later a disappointed in no contact letter. I sent them a photocopy of their own acceptance and haven't heard anything since
.
Hopefully Yorkshire Bank are just incompetent rather than nasty and it will sort out eventually. The short translation of this whole rambleis reply in writing and keep a copy.
Sam,

p.s. anyone heard from Rayday? Haven't seen her for ages.DMP Mutual Support Member 138Proud to have dealt with my debts

Hi folks
I am so sorry to have just disappeared, I got a PM today (thanks for the kick I needed it)
Been really busy with work as a TA, and been quite poorly too currently on steroids so I have had no energy or time and been very selfish. I hope everyone has been OK and no one has had any really bad stuff to deal with. I doubt I will ever catch up so I may just have to jump in again!
Hello to any newbies!0 -
Delaying tactics from citi cards. I have sent them a SOA copy back in oct. They would like me to send them a copy of my defaults from my other credit cards. I don't know why they don't just look at my credit file. I am getting lots of different responses to my questions and they have not accepted my arrangement figure yet and they are still adding charges and fees. I feel like I am banging my head on a brick wall. After the conversation over the phone they are giving me loads of silent calls now even though I have asked them not too. Any help what to do now. I am going to send them a letter about phone calls.cross stitch cafe #90 UFO's 6 to finish in 2013, and loads of new kits to boot
