I doubt companies will be suprised this is hard times for us all and the whole point of a DMP is to have the money to live on. With the interest stopped that my sort of count each other out - touch wood for you!0 -

I opened my A&L account online (but forgot quidco) but they didn't even ask for any id. They did say they might request that I post them some, but they verified me from the electoral roll, credit search and current bank account details I gave them (I assume
).
Just make sure you request "no overdraft"!!! When you sign up to your dmp you say that you won't take on any extra creditworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Other thing to make sure is that A&L is not related to any of your creditors. I opened mine through Quidco it is my shopping account, I have a complex set up of bank accounts!0

Hi all
I'm new and have just paid my first amount to the cccs with most creditors accepting the payment.
One question i have though; my mortgage is fixed for a couple more years. In a couple of years when the market picks up and i want to move and change mortgage company would i be able to and how does it work with the cccs?
Thank you all in advance for help given, hekp offered and can i join the family?!
Thanks0 -
Not sure how it works with the CCCS but if you were negotiating smaller payments then you would inform them that there was more in the pot to go around.
I shall add you to the list in a mo!
I remortgaged a couple of months ago I was with a sub prime lender before but am now with a mainstream high street lender, so the interest rate is not as bad but not as good as someone with a perfect history. They did say that when my two year deal comes to an end if I have never been late paying or missed one then they will ignore what my credit history says and take me on as a mainstream customer.
Edited to say added you in the list number 215!0 -
Thanks for that.
One more question, any suggestions of the best pre-paid credit card?
