Off to make Dinner then last evening class for AAT:j I will honestly be skipping out of the classroom tonight as it means I have my Monday and Wednesday evenings back.
Not looking forward to Manchester on Wednesday...I havent been to a big conference on my own before and am a little nervous about it:o and I am not looking forward to the drive alone either.
Having a day off tomorrow in leu of Thursday as I am working my day off so OH has put a holiday in and we are going to spend the day together without the kids as they will be at school. Looking forward to just pleasing ourselves:D
May catch you all later xxxxBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Oh that old chesnut!!
Now that i've met you lot and came out unscathed, Big G seems to think that this is okay to have in my reality, so i think we're alright on that score.
That and the fact that i'm not likely to want to go to other Engerlish meets, as too far to travel etc. Told him Scottish ones are very rare.
I'd not be on here as much in the day, if i had more work to do... not on as much at night, but that may change when i get my free E2Save laptop with my new mobile!!! I'll never be off the place!! and watch telly at the same time!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Hello everyone!
We've just got back from a fantastic weekend at Centre Parcs, Sherwood. Had a great weekend, lots of fun and sunshine!
What'd I miss?

We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.

Very few people know me for the person I am, most people are only friendly with me because of what I do or who I know. It's worse in the industry, there are no friends, just networking opportunities.
Hmm...I'd find that rather souless...When I come here, I try not to talk about my job too much, sometimes I do, I know, but mostly I just like to talk about normal everyday things, because that's what my life is. the trouble is, outside of my job there really isn't anything interesting to say.You don't half talk some shiite at times...
Like keren I feel in a rut too, only unlike her, I'm not moving in a new direction and I can't work on a life out of here anymore than I have been, unless of course I jack it all in and go and do something very different.
Don't get me wrong, I love my job and I know I'm pretty ok at it. I just wish sometimes I was more than that.
Finding meaning in a job is a nationwide obsession. I'm lucky. I know my job is meaningless and it doesn't bother me.
I'd prefer a bit more appreciation when I pull a rabbit out of a hat (not literally), but that still wouldn't give it meaning.

bloomin thing just crashed on me again but basically I agree with z and if you need the pills to get you through take 'em and don't feel bad, doc wouldn't prescribe them if they weren't happy for you to taken them.
you're now all making me feel I should go out and get a life but I can't afford one... and I like it here!

hello everyone,
am back from the dentist. it was pretty bad. 2 injections although thankfully I had taken enough valium not to nut the dentist it didn't stop me inching up the chair trying to get away from the poor man. and then lots of stuff I don't want to talk about and now? hunger and pain. and a MASSIVE gapping hole.
you 're all so glad I told you that aren't you? I have to say I am atsounded (well I would be if I could spellit ) that I got through it.
and toto, I am too doctor bound next week for not being able to sleep/stop worrying and I don't like it either but it will have to do for now until I have a chance to really think?
And please don't all disappear, I do understand that this place doesn't replace the real world but honestly it is the nicest place and no one in real world knows how much debt I am in or can offer such good advice. or have such a good laugh.
now going off to suck my dinner up through a straw.
xxxxNevertheless she persisted.0
