DS2 swimming, and last science class tuesday

More trademe the sooner the better.
Leaflets for school car boot dropped of about 10 so far. Only one place had to ask a manager so that was ace! Even asked the postie to take one back for his works notice board!
THURSDAY MAKE MUFFINS FOR CAR BOOT CAKE STALL
    Take muffins to school
Friday School trip to local hot pools. REMEMBER TO TAKE DS'S STRAIGHT THERE SO LATE START:j:j. Tag at Raiders - stay for presentation
Saturday Remember OH has a surf life saving course, DS has cricket, and there is the carboot too. Maybe drop mum and DS2 off at the carboot...
Sunday surf life saving gala for DS1,

And the scary thing is I am sure there is more!!!!

There is gardening!!! planted two tomato plants to day to distract me from everything else!!!

So proud of DS1 yesterday. He had a go at getting his patch at surflife saving. this is swimming 200m in open sea and then treading water for a minute. he got about half way, but it was awesome that he had a go. And now he also understands that he will have to put some work into getting it!

  • Wowee - that is quite a list!! Looks like you're making good inroads into it already though so well done for that - well done to DS too for trying - better to have tried, and failed, than fail to try at all!

Sorry to have missed all the kerfuffle over the insurance/tank etc too - will be keeping my fingers crossed that it all gets sorted out with the minimum of stress to you.

Hi there Chev.. Saw some of your postings and spotted the NZ tag. Gorgeous place. Only been to SI though..if you get the chance go to Abel Tasman in the spring/ autumn..it's divine.. You may have to do some housework though!!! You need a camper for there really.

Was hoping to come back over this summer ( your winter) but flights will cost the earth and given economic situation and trying to OP mortgage think we may have to rein it in a bit. Also our lovely NZ friend who we would visit is coming over here to GB to see extended family so well thats the excuse..

Lovely diary..will subscribe. Hope alls sorted with A*A..am meant to be renewing home insurance with them..may change my mind...

    Loads of progress made..well done.
£20 isn't much money to owe the taxman.
Try not to worry too much about the oil tank thing as I guess it will be a good while before thats sorted out and worrying won't change anything xxx
