Then they were both being grotty before we had to go to Tag Rugby (*think they call it Ripper in the UK). They both won in there respective teams, with Thomas scoring a superb try!
It's usually referred to as either Tag or Touch rugby over here - Ripper sounds like it could be an Australian term though? *edit* The only references I can find to it through google appear to refer to either the US, or NZ. Tag/touch is the game played by kids under about 13 here as the full contact sport is considered too rough. It's also often used for adult teams in training as it can be quite a fast game and good for fitness training.

Did your boys play rugby before you moved there Chev? Great to hear that they're clearly enjoying it anyway!

  • Hurrah - love your diary Chev as there are always lists so I feel well at home! :D

Is your Mum visiting for christmas then? That'll be lovely, I take it she's based over here is she? I find that when you have a set deadline to "have" to get something done, ie clearing a room for someone to stay in, it acts as a real kick to get it done, so I'm sure you'll fly through that - it's such a cheery reason for having to do it as well!

Right - in the interests of NOT losing my morning on here, I'm off!

Souk thanks for popping by, and EH having read your diary I now know what you mean about lists.

have loads of stuff for the boys, and I can probably say x is from so and so as well. Will have to talk to my dad about that.

So not doing too badly. Was pleased about sorting the clothes, as now I know if I see any bargains anywhere what ages I DON'T need. And it is all bagged up together now as well, and the older stuff put in the store room. Still need to clear off the bed, but that won't take long now.
    chev

Room done other than hoovering. Might get a chance at that in the morning if I get my A*s in gear lol
