  • Definitely good progress on the list Chev - I'm letting the side down this week as I've not done one. I might do a "TA DA!" list to cover today/tomorrow instead at some stage tomorrow!

I'd like to tell you to try not to let the oil tank/insurance thing prey on your mind too much, but it's pointless as of course it's going to. What I will say is try to make sure you take some "you time" at the moment as well and do something that will let you relax and not sit dwelling on the situation .

Sunday surf life saving gala for DS1,

And the scary thing is I am sure there is more!!!!

There is gardening!!! planted two tomato plants to day to distract me from everything else!!!

Have also made some strawberry jam in my bread maker, not sure how well it will set though as most of the pectin powder seems glued to the inside of the tin....
Also put some more veggie plants in the garden. So most of the peppers and tomatoes have a permanent home now. Will see how they get on. The peppers seem to like the front garden even though it is in shade for half the day!

Still worrying about the issue with the money we are being sued for. I just can't think about it too much though. I have only just come off anti depressants and really don't want to go back on them so soon. But i feel very anxious and scared about all of this.

The first response from the other side, was that they had served the papers to the write address (my old home address)But they have had letters from our solicitors saying that they were acting on our behalf so how can this be true. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Well I looked back on the manic week list last posted and I actually got most (ie greater than 95%) of it done.

    since last posting

    1) We went to DS's touch final. HIS TEAM WON 6 - 2 and were unbeaten the whole term! Awesome.
    2) At prize giving DS2 (in the team above) got the most promising player of the term from the organisers - not in his school in all the schools (8) that took part! I am SO PROUD! He was also top try scorer!
    3) All presents to the UK are now gone. Some won't get there before christmas, but then again, things that have been posted after the last day of posting here, have already arrived (insert shruggy smiley here!).
    4) planted out some more pepper plants, and randomly put some bean seeds in the ground in the vague hope that they will produce something or even sprout at all:rotfl:
    5) Managed to have the boys home two days and not kill them yet. We have had no spend days with them doing not a lot but we did go out on their bikes today so that was good!
    6) I also helped out sort out the surf life saving gala for tonight even if we don't make it at least i have contributed.
    7) Booked OUR HOLIDAY! with https://www.goodcleanfunnz.com. They put up the tent and do the cooking and take us on guided trips. Ace. Will let you know how they do when we get back.

In other news the other side in the oil tank saga has agreed to set aside the judgement on the basis that we never got the paperwork. They said it had been served by post (Is this usual that court papers don't get served personally anymore?) but still agreed to set it aside.

So now my lawyer is working on a Consent Form anyone know what one of these is? I don't know whether we are meant to be submitting the defence at this stage, and of course we are in the run down to xmas so can't see much happening anytime soon!

    right must do some listing

Thanks NorthernLas I will have a look at those after the xmas bit is out of the way.

Been thinking about what I want to achieve next year. Is it totaly bizarre to say that I probably want a freezer most of all?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:It is driving me nuts not having a proper large one here. Means I can't batch cook, or blanche produce out of the garden etc.

So I have decided after the next colourant, I am going to let it be natural coloured hair!:eek:This will be about the first time in 20 odd years at least that it has been so. It will save me $14 a fortnight odd, so that can go to a freezer pot! A good one is going to cost me about $2000 (It says something doesn't it when I could buy a freezer from argos, have it delivered to an onshipper to deliver here, and it would still cost me about half this price! How nuts is that?), so this will be a start. I have $100 saved already, but I am going to have to put some of that towards a hair cut, as I can't go a year without having it done, and I am to cack handed to risk cutting it myself.

So following on from that I guess a job would be good.... Would get to the freezer so much quicker.....

So I will see how I go!

Merry Christmas to all, and a stress free 2011 as well
