It actually gets easier and saves a lot of time when you've only got things that fit and look OK in the wardrobe. There's no trying things on and finding it's not OK, or can't find the things that do look OK because of the other stuff :D

You actually will feel better and more confident, when you only have the nice things to chose from :D

It's just the inital sort out that's a problem. Now I'm in a routine it's working well, when I spot gaps, I just pop it on the shopping/wish list for when there's time and money to fill the gaps.

Thought I would still do a list so if I get any of this done it is a bonus.

Cut down a pair of trousers, so DS1 has another pair of school shorts

Homework started for DS1 He has decided on the stone age!

Take family to cinema maybe this week, but we have had too many other things on.

Bike in park did this this morning.

Clear raised bed and prep for planting shoulder hasn't been well enough. but need to do it as my tomato plants are sprouting

    Source courgette plants?

Sew up bear just got the ears to do.

    Another 2 hats DONE!

Take up legs of trousers on DS1's other trousers. Discovered they are actually next years trousers, so a job for next year woohoo

Get DS1 and possibly 2 new school shoes. $219 later ouch!

Plus the normal cooking and cleaning and washing LOL done up to date.

Also have cleaned bathroom and toilets, and hoovered the up stairs:A.

Really pleased with my DS's over the weekend, they have been really good overall. DS1 wasn't all that keen to go back to surf life saving this season, but he is all keen now as he was 2nd in one race and 3rd in another. DS2 won some of his races too, cos he is so much faster now than last year!

Both had good training for touch as well. Was quite sweet though as we made them have a rest after lunch and DS1 actually fell asleep. Bless he hasn't done that for ages! Means we are working them hard. They seem to like it LOL.

Right more coffee needed for the next stint of hoovering. I am with Hypno, when I have got rid of the clutter, I AM HAVING A CLEANER!

Thanks taxi, hope things are progressing nicely for you too *makes note to wander over to taxi's thread*

Well I told you this exercise lark is dangerous, ran down the hill to get back to the car quick after walking school bus yesterday, and strained the muscles in my hip OWWWWW! So today is a sitting gingerly somewhere and resting...

However I did have a bargain day yesterday got 4 bras that fit (an achievement) for under $60! But it took me half an hour of looking and 40 minutes of trying them on:eek::eek::eek:. I must be an odd chest to cup ratio, cos i couldn't hardly find anything that was right!

    two loads done.

I think I am going to let the airing cupboard be my friend for the next two weeks. I worked out that even after I had thrown out all those clothes, that I still had underwear etc for nearly 2 weeks. Therefore, though I will wash things as and when, I am going to leave them in the airing cupboard.

In this way I will HAVE to wear my clothes, and really find out what fits, what suits etc :eek::eek::eek:This is kind of scary so we will see how I can get on with it!

    Have a good day y'all

Well this has been an interesting experience, and one i am still doing ( i have a lot of undergarments i have discovered:o).

Today I did cheat as I was running late, but the rest of the time I have worn new things together etc. I have even worn a skirt:eek::eek:.

I now have a list to get down else I am going to forget stuff I have to do this week.

LIST FOR THE NEXT 7 DAYS
    1) help DS1 with homework
    2) washing washing washing one load out and one in the machine
    3) find clothes for touch tonight took too long sigh but done
    4) package up 3 trademe parcels and to the post office done
    5) 2 hats
    6) list 5 more things on trademe
7)find a pair of touch shoes for DS2 (he left his by the playground and of course when we went back they weren't there :mad:)found some but have to go to the next town to get them tomorrow
    8) See deputy head tomorrow regarding DS1 and possible dyslexia (saw here once already this week, because he is such a bright kid and yet still routinely at 9 says words back to front etc).
    9) Sort out who is taking who to cricket and touch tournament on Saturday
    10) Check all surf life saving kit is where I think it is.
    11) Star chart for DS2 fill it in each time not at the end of the day
    12) Go swimming
    13) Walking school bus 3 times. done for this week, just need to keep the motivation going for next week.
    14) Sort out holiday for January with OH else the people we want to use will be booked
    15) Still find a baby sitter.
    16) Take electrical bits to electrician to see if he can resurrect my kenwood chef done, will know if it can be fixed in a couple of days.
    17) Input receipts and do budget for next 4 weeks.
    18) Take DS1 to fireworks on Friday (get tickets).
    19) Take permission slips back to scouts so DS1 can go on various trips (and pay for them:()
I am sure there is other stuff but that will keep me going lol.

Hi Taxi, yes thanks it is way better now, though I still have a bit of a strain in my bottom (ahem)! Still it is working off nicely at the mo. I hope that you are getting over your stuff now. It would be really frustrating for me, and I know how much drive and energy you have normally....

In other news DS2 shocked the hell out of me this morning, by telling me he wanted a baby sister:eek::eek::eek:It was shocking because a) he had said that if I couldn't decide (lol) what the sex of the baby was then I shouldn't have another one!, so b) that he asked for a baby sister was doubly funny.

Why then have I had a big smile on my face since he asked me? oh dear........
