Morning all
Hope you all had a good weekend.....I've had a fantastic birthday weekend........and would like to say a big thank you to you all on DFW for all your good wishes and support :A :A .
Saturday got taken to the gym (first time since accident 4 weeks ago) and then out for a meal with girlfriend. Sunday lunchtime the guinea pig helpers came round to clean out their cages and my brother picked me up yesterday afternoon for the Elton John concert (my Xmas pressie)
Wow....what a fantastic concert ... Sir Elton (my hero) did us proud.....the last night of his tour, the sun shone, sound was excellent and we had seats four rows from the front :T . And such a fabulous playlist, with a lot of greatest hits oldies.....but I just couldn't believe it when he opened with Funeral for a Friend and Love lies bleeding...my two all time faves (off the Yellow brick road album- the first single/LP I ever bought as a kid)... I'd always wanted to hear him play those live. :j
I have a lot of his songs in my piano repertoire....including the two above... so it was also a bit emotional for me at the start......I really want to get these fingers back and working on the piano as soon as possible....and have been getting very frustrated with the lack of movement in the hand despite the pummelling I am giving it at the moment  . I see the hospital again tuesday week and will not be allowed to start driving again unless I am able to make a fist.....so lots more exercising this week I think. But on a positive note, I have got some functionality back and am now able to type a lot faster on the keyboard
Must go and shower as cleaners arriving soon. Talk to you all later.....hope the weather is good where you are...we've glorious sunshine this morning.
Love to all
Wol2
