Yes.....but missed the target area I would have liked.

Although things are OK...an arrangement has been reached between the parties that makes practical sense but unfortunately suits everyone iexcpt me..ot specifically the piggies..and I've been spending a lot of extra brain power today to deal with it. Can't post about it I'm afraid.

However good news is..I'm moving back on Aug 15th :j :j :beer: :beer: ....exactly one year to the day (spooky...not intended) the removal company picked up my remaining possessions from my flooded house and delivered them into this rented accomodation (I spent the first month from 20th July at ex-OH's)

Big night tonight..exOh came round for dinner..we talked..lots...it was good...but now feeling pretty emotional. Oh bogger..Glora Estefan has just come on the CD...I'd do anything for you....the words are piercing....

Thanks for your posts......means a lot...bit non-compos-mentis atm after tonight....have just steamed up the reading glasses...not quite sure how that happened but hey..the wonders of science..:D

Been a bit of a hectic and emotional week ..even tired out my counsellor tonight with all the exploits/happenings......and have just caught up with new posts on Wellers thread and ended up in tears.....plus everything else re house, burglar yesterday (someone ripped of all my hanging baskets... )..exOH etc..but nothing compared to Weller...feeling such a fraud......

Normal service tomorrow hopefully

Still not caught up on ur thread, but getting there. My OH had the same thing happen to him and also was told 4wks then 10 wks, you just have to battle through don't you hon, all that washing re pong and creaming +exercise should make a nice slim hand/arm.
I will get back to catching up and hope today is a good one xx

The removals company have confirmed today.....August 15th is definitely the date I move back........

I'm going to be moving back into my house..I'm going to be moving back into my house....I can't quite believe it after all this time....13 months after the flood........... :shocked: ....:D......:j


Sorry about temporary blip yesterday evening, was very tired and had been a very hectic and emotional (positive and negative) 10 days .. I'm feeling much better today.....probably because (a) the cleaners actually turned up this morning and I now have fresh sheets on my bed
b) I spent the whole afternoon in bed asleep .:eek: ...had been working on the insurance claim this morning and just couldn't keep my eyes open and those fresh sheets were calling me...and woke up at 7 tonight:o

c) I'm going to be moving back...I'm going to be.... kicks record player

At midnight tomorrow my annus horribilis officially comes to an end :j :j :j .....I can't wait!! (but staying indoors tomorrow and will keep checking the weather forecast just in case :rotfl:)

On tuesday I see the hand surgeon.....it's been reallly frustrating the last two weeks...although I am beating it to a pulp three times a day with the massage cream, and practicing making a fist throughout the day...and yesterday I actually peeled a potato (Badly!) for the first time.....one hour the fingers will curl over and an hour later they're frozen solid and wont work at all. Then later on, they suddenly start working again...only to stop again later My hand definitely seems to have developed a mind of its own. I only hope I've made enough progress to be allowed to start driving again as I really need the car now..
