Hi Penguin
How are you diddling tonight? Was scorching down here, hope you've still got some ice flow left? (Yep it really is Wol here not Poor or Wolpoor or Poorwol whoever that was last night)

Now, must think assertive thoughts ready for tomorrow.........

Hi Bob
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ....well the room was certainly moving too towards the end of the evening!
How are things in turnip land? Hope you're feeling better now. And how are the beans..keeping watered I hope......miracle grow might improve the pale leaves....did you put the banana skins in?
Ref the van....luckily the insurance should cover that....and I have to use their nominated removal company who actually weren't too bad on the way out.....hope I get the same lads on the return trip.
Hugs to you

Plenty of water in sunny lancashire..we did spot the sun in between the clouds today, yep i felt momentarily a bit of heat..had to take my coat off for about 5 mins:rotfl:
Why so you hope for the same lads? Are they worth a second ganders?:rotfl: :rolleyes:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

Alas Bob, sadly, no (or the builders).....but they were careful, polite and didn't leave dirty footprints on the upstairs carpet (well there wasn't one downstairs to dirty after the flood :rotfl: :rotfl: )
Good to hear the beans are up and running......have they started flowering yet? Hopefully the sun will come out soon......and the bees.....
Hugs to you

Hi Chev
How are things over the other side of the world...has it warmed up a bit yet? Despite your weather, I'm still wanting to be your au pairWell it never gets really cold, but it is very deceiving. Get out of the wind and it is quite hot sun (when you see it), but in the wind you are shivering again! I mean it comes from the antartic so it is not surprising!
Thanks for posting...I think the hand is improving but because it keeps stiffening up every two hours it's difficult to determine if it's really getting more flexible each day. Sometimes you only realised it has improved when someone else comments on it. The old wood for the trees thingy
I did get a letter from both the Woolwich mortgage centre and the Premier banking people today, both apologising and confirming reinstatement :j
...I think I was very lucky the chap who cold called me about something completely different was rather high up in the organisation and decided to do something as the call centre I'd rung just weren't interested:D And have you put your claim in for psychological distress!!!!:D
Hope you find a suitable house for your furniture soon...will keep an eye on your thread to see how you're getting along.
Huggies

We have looked at several houses now and are just waiting to see if any come over the next few days before making our final decision.
Hope your move goes well, and I too would make the builders pay the charge too. Hell they charge enough for THEIR time!
take care
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
