    Dear Wol
Sorry not to have been on your thread for a while, but I have had no real internet connection until this week.
What a carp time you have been having, I am SO glad that you have started to mend. I was thinking go you, when you said about getting the mortgage draw down thingy reinstated. I wonder how many people just panic and take a loan from a legal shark like vanquis, rather than fight the bank.

    Happy belated birthday too

    Hello all you lovely huggies
    :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Well for those of you on the Owls thread last night, you'll be relieved to hear that normal identity is resumed tonight.

Poorandindenial came down yesterday/today to christen the first boxes of packing. Bless her, what an angel...:A .Thanks Poor for all your hard work and giving me a real lift..:T ..I am motivated to start packing in earnest now......sorry about your hangover though :D :rotfl:

Tomorrow my friend from Brighton is staying over. She will be driving me to my real house for a site meeting in the afternoon, (need to have a few words with my builder....Co-op tried to deliver my freezer and washing machine today and there was no-one on site..despite pre-arranging it....so the delivery people charged me £35 for a failed delivery...all that money saving effort with quidco etc wiped out  ). Then an early dinner in the village, followed by a flood forum meeting with the local council and then back to here for...guess what...another raid on the wine cellar and more packing the following day! (Think though I will be on diet coke after last night:o )

So busy times ahead and quite a bit of butt kicking...builders, loss adjusters, council etc etc....maybe I should just deliver karate chops with my splint :D
Hand is very stiff and needs regular beatings to just maintain it's flexibility during the day...and naughty Wol tried to play the piano yesterday morning (yes you've guessed..Elton's Funeral for a Friend)........which may or may not have been a good thing...jury is still out and hand is now very sore
Piggies have had their last lot of medicine today from the vet nurse:T ...who noticed Beech (Him wot dun it) has started to develop a tiny abcess on his lip....(maybe the hand he bit wasn't as clean as I thought :rotfl:) ....so back to the vets tomorrow morning for him, but otherwise the rest are clear.

Well I'm off for a wander and then an early night (well early compared to last night:D )

    Huggies to all
    Love

    Hi Chev

How are things over the other side of the world...has it warmed up a bit yet? Despite your weather, I'm still wanting to be your au pair ;)

Thanks for posting...I think the hand is improving but because it keeps stiffening up every two hours it's difficult to determine if it's really getting more flexible each day.

You're right that a lot of people would panic.....and whether a problem involves mortgages, insurance claims, utilities, credit cards or DCA's...dealing with these people and their customer service centres to get it resolved effectively can be a nightmare.

I did get a letter from both the Woolwich mortgage centre and the Premier banking people today, both apologising and confirming reinstatement :j
...I think I was very lucky the chap who cold called me about something completely different was rather high up in the organisation and decided to do something as the call centre I'd rung just weren't interested:D

Hope you find a suitable house for your furniture soon...will keep an eye on your thread to see how you're getting along.

    Hi Bubbles

Head is just about clear now....Wolpoor2 didn't really get themselves moving til late this morning....and we suffered all day.....shouldn't have had the Irish coffees methinks. But we're both back to normal now...whatever that is :rotfl:

No sweat about the gimpy guineas.........(what is a gimpy  )...and, sigh, I suppose we have to bow to market forces ;)

    How are you tonight Hun?
