Today I received notification that Barclays/Woolwich have withdrawn my mortgage drawdown reserve facility.. .the one I was planning to use to cover all the costs of the re-building and also all the costs associated wth the hand problem. Unless it is reinstated in the next four weeks I can't pay the builders and move back.
They sent a letter in March to everyone saying they would do this in May unless we replied to the contrary...which I did. I have also had face to face meetings and telecalls with my bank manager and the Barclays team about this subject and the need to organise a drawdown since Jan...and was even reassured in May my drawdown facility would definitely not be removed and I should not use it until absolutely necessary ie July.
Have spent the morning on the phone filing official complaints and demands for reinstatement...but guess what..they are inundated with calls on the subject...each case will be judged on its own merits.....
Oh boy.....am I angry...
Have posted on the mortgage board as I don;t think the can do this...it's a fundamental part of the product they sold me four years ago....and the reason I went with them and not someone else. Obviously all my savings/ISA's etc are with them as part of the offset.......maybe need to think about moving my business....Flooded 20/07/07.

Hi
Not sure if it helps but have you considered software that you use on your computer that uses your voice to type not your hands?
I have one called Via Voice but there are many others that are cheaper. It helps with RSA for me. Bit fiddly to set it up but good once you get the hang of it!
Hope you are getting better and feeling happier.
Best wishes

Hi Piglet
Unfortunately Ginger (he of the scabby nose...now confirmed today by vet as ringworm so Dr Wol's original diagnosis was correct:D ) is currently in quarantine next to the computer and is now bending my ear about his "reward" for not biting the vet nurse administering his medication :rotfl: :rotfl: . As for Pierrette and Garibaldi...the other two also quarantined in the lounge...they're still too busy shagging (but Pierrette is spayed so they can muck around all they like:cool:)
Love and hugs
