    Hi wol :)

Good news for me today-he's been having to have physio on a dodgy knee, and we were afraid that would put him behind on this course... They've decided to let him carry on, so by my (hopeful ;)) calculations he should be back by 15th July! Just got to save as much as possible for the next couple of weeks so I can afford it :D

Had my appraisal at work today, my boss has decided to put my level up 3 months early as apparantly I'm doing well  :rotfl: So I'm looking at a payrise next month, with backpay for the last 3 months too :D Pretty pleased with that.

Hope you're doing ok, you sound good :)

    Xx

Hi sweets..that's fantastic news for both him....and especially for you about the pat rise etc. Big hugs and celebrations!!

Oh I'm so pleased for you.

    Will PM you.

If it suits......your call totally.....you could just budget for getting train to Farnham....bed and board is here for you both.....save on other expenses IYKWIM ;) . But as I said...your call.

So so pleased and well done for doing so well.

    Big hugs

    Hi Pingu

Lovely to hear from you hun..How are you?

I was thinking of you today...as I likened my platypus to a flipper...;) .....

I don't know you at all, but I did read your contributions to sporter's thread and was profoundly impressed by your kindness and humanity. Hope you're feeling better and a little less lonely.

    Hi ndp

Thank you for posting and for your kind wishes.

The DFW Board has been an uplifting revelation to me since I first stumbled across it last year. Here is a great community of nice kind helpful people who give of their time, no matter what their own problems may be, to support others who may be feeling isolated, afraid, worried or alone...a bedrock of humanity in a world where humanity seems to be disappearing at a rate of knots...it has certainly restored my somewhat jaded faith in human nature.
So I intend to be here for the long haul, making what contributions I can for others.......this is a shining example of the type of community I want to be a part of and help support.

Hope things are OK with you and please come visit some more!

    Love
