    Hi All
    :hello:

Normal service resumed after temporary malfunction yesterday. Basically the hand exercises every 2hours were getting me down and I kept ending up in tears after every session. In itself that wasn't too bad but I then received an email late yesterday afternoon out of the blue, which unfortunately I didnt handle very well.:o

However... the hand did get a proper wash in the bath for the first time in 3 weeks yesterday morning (Bubbles please note :D ).

Today my driver for the day was..couldn't believe it when she told me...... a physiotherapist....nice girl who'd just qualified from Uni...and was therefore very interested in my hand exercises. (Most of her placements during her course had been leg-orientated..:rotfl: )

Drove to house for meeting and the flood doors will now be rectified by supplier, builders wont budge about the poor wallpaper finish (blamed it on paper quality), sorted out all fixtures to go back up such as curtain rails etc, chose the paint for the kitchen which is currently being installed, and the position for picture tiles. We've arranged a final inspection date of 16th July so carpets can be fitted the following week. That means move can happen first week of August earliest...providing I have enough help before then to pack and I can ensure people are around that week to help ferry piggies (and possibly me if I'm still not driving :D) back to my new home! Builders will then return last two weeks of August to do the outside stuff.

Was at the house for two hours inspecting everything and looks like things are going well. Need to ring surveyor tomorrow as he had to leave early...just to finalise minutes of meeting.

Took my lady driver or lunch at local sandwich bar...and guess what ...they had gluten/wheat-free nice homemade bread.:T ..so I had the most delicious sandwich for the first time in almost a year...sheer heaven...I do so miss my bread!!

Then went to next town to order carpets from my usual supplier.... knocked them down by £250  . Finally got back here by 4pm.

Took Ginger piggie back to vet as his nose was worse....also now Beech and his mate Iroko are starting to show signs of scabby nose. Vet now decided its not mites but is in fact fungal ringworm as per my original suggestion   (well I am a microbiologist ;) ) ....but at least I managed to get a credit back of £65 on the second doses of anti-mite medication they'd ordered. However now ....somehow...I have to grind up anti-fungal tablets, mix with water and syringe feed each pig (I have15 in total   )....once a day ...oh and spray their noses with iodine dry dressing spray ...poor piggies......and all with one hand

So tomorrow is a rest day as hand really hurt from all the excitement today....and I'll order all the white goods for kitchen to arrive in next ten days....whoopeee...quidco here I come.

Cleaners are coming in thursday morning (£13 per hour _pale_ _pale_ ), plus I've a lift to a free lunch that day and then friday/saturday I'm going to see Meatloaf, stay o/night with mum and dad and meeting up with some old schoolfriends I haven't seen in years (two of whom are ex-boyfriends ;) !)

So if I'm not around much after tomorrow...it's because I'm a tad busy:D but will be back on sunday to update you.

Special thanks to all who posted/texted/PM'd/rang etc over the last 24 hours. :A :A Now I've got my focus back I'm determined to keep positive and keep moving forwards.....the end is in sight....albeit a few hurdles still to jump before then.

And that's when my new DFW thread will start...sorting out the resulting financial aftermath.._pale_... .

    Hugs to all
    Love
