Thanks for all your posts. Yes the light has come back....just need to get the timimg of the move sorted out for definite so I have a date to work towards.

Hi Wol, goodness it all sounds complicated, but I'm so glad you are feeling a little better about things.

Sometimes you can't see any light at all at the end of the tunnel and you start to think it's not there, and then you round a corner, and suddenly you can see it, shining away in the distance.

(and sometimes I just talk rubbish! :rotfl:)

Thanx for popping back and foir the good wishes.
And....Snags hun........I have never heard (or maybe I should say seen :rotfl: ) you talk rubbish.....and yes..the light is there..but I'm somewhat holding my breath to make sure it doesnt get blown out by accident . Hope your corner/light appears soontoo.

How are you today?

Yes, pleased about the carpet people...went in at £500 off but he said no way (so reminded him that this is the 4th complete house carpet I've ordered from them over the last 15 years....two house moves and two insurance claims) and then waved my platypus (nickname for this thermoplastic arm splint.....no not something else..:eek: ..clean your minds peeps;) ) and said I should at least get a bit more of a sympathy discount :rotfl:
