  • I still have not had my points from registering and bidding on e-bay. I was really careful to go through the Pigsback site for my first few bids too.

I think you might be in good company there - several people have reported they only got their points after quering them via email (postmaster@pigsback.com). I was one of those people - had to supply them with proof that I registered and bid because apparently my registration / bid "wasn't monitored".

I can't help the feeling that none of the registrations (eBay or others, such as National Lottery or Lightspeed Panel) are "monitored" by Pigsback. Their promises are often false.

Hope you have kept some of the emails you got from eBay because that's what Pigsback will want from you (even though their T&Cs for eBay say nothing about this) when you inquire about the missing points. I eventually got my eBay points after sending them the emials that I had - luckily - kept.

I have not received my PB points for Lightspeed, eBay, or the National Lottery. That's a total of 900 points they owe me.

For Lightspeed and eBay, I sent them copies of the emails AND the email headers a week or so ago. No response. I did the same for the Lottery yesterday.

On the other hand, I had a polite and helpful reply very quickly after I told them that I had received only 50, and not 100 points, for the Snapfish offer.

If it helps, I would suggest that you keep your email as brief as possible, and that you limit your email to one issue at a time.

    Hi xxxxx,

    Thanks for your mail.

I can assure you that Pigsback.com honours all PiggyPoint credits due to members.
There were hundreds of members who were issued with PiggyPoints in September, who registered through the offer on Pigsback.com, so this shows that the tracking system used for the offer is working.

Pigsback.com can only issue PIggyPoints on transactions which are tracked as originating through our site, and this is not the case for your registration.
There are many instances of members who may not complete a registration when they click through from Pigsback.com to a partner site, and then log back onto the partner site directly; or else they ate logged into another member account at the time.

The number of members who receive PiggyPoints, far outweighs the number of members who do not receive PiggyPoints and claim to have followed all of the instructions as per offer page.

If the tracking is seen to be working for hundreds of members, and Pigsback.com only have approval to issue Points on tracked registrations, then we have to abide by the current system in place.
Unfortunately we do have insincere members who attempt to claim PiggyPoints for offers they have not participated in, and while I am not suggesting at all that this is what you are doing, Pigsback.com have to abide by this system if we are to continue to issue PiggyPoints and remain in business.

Out of approximately 500 members who were issued PiggyPoints for this offer for September, there have been two queries from members who say that they registered through the offer page, so we have no reason to believe that this is not working.

Please advise of the browser and operating system however, and I will follow up with the technical director to see what could cause your registration not be tracked. Also if you could forward on your confirmation mail from the registration it would be much appreciated.

    Kind Regards,

    Rachel Mallon

Thats snotty isnt it, I had a similar experience with Ipoints, who insisted I must not hve used the links even though I clicked through on their pages. Again they asked for the confirmation email, knowing full well, nobody keeps them once an account is registered.

Good business practice would be to honour the offer to the two members who just may be trying it on, and to monitor further emails from them, in case they continue to claim fraudulently (as PB would consider it). Keeping two members happy would hardly have cost much out of the 500 offers taken up.

However, the two members they claim to have been unhappy were only those who bothered to complain ...

If they had properly tested their site with all major browsers, maybe this kind of problem wouldn't require them to run additional checks when it is too late.

Their email to you also ignores the strong evidence of failures in their system evidenced on this forum!

All in all, once again, this is a pretty poor performance.
