I have been so good and listed 5 auctions on ebay. It might not sound like much but one of them is for a bundle of maternity clothes and I ironed all 21 items, photographed them all and did a description for each for the one auction. I have a flickr account so used that to host the photos so I could put a photo of each item on for free. I am hoping that in depth descriptions and photos will help the auction fetch an OK price. Although, the most important thing is to declutter and reclaim my wardrobe!

I thought for sure you must have had the baby now as i hadnt seen you for a few days. they tested me for choleostasis at the start of this pregnancy as i was itching like mad but it turned out to be a reaction to some antibiotics. the itching drove me insain though. My membraine sweep didnt work either, i will ask them to do it again when i go back this week and keep my fingers crossed. i have a feeling this little guy is going to be late though.

I cant believe you have got your mat clothes on ebay so soon. I really dont have many as i didnt start really needing them till 7 months. but now im huge, they are prob a bit tatty to be selling on. I was thinking of keeping the jeans for christmas day!

You will have to send me someof those cheese scones, i made christmas cake yesterday and dont have the energy to stand and do more baking. I have done loads of cleaning today though.

I am so impressed you have made christmas cake already, how organised are you! I actually wouldn't even know how too, we have always been to family at christmas so I have never had to do christmas stuff like that. I think we will be staying at home this year because of the new baby so I might have to start thinking about these things! I did make the cheese scones though :) I am very limited in what I have tried baking though, I am certainly no domestic goddess! I can do scones, muffins and banana cake and that is it. They are about my level as nothing can really go to wrong with those things!

Insurance companies are always difficult when it comes to getting money out of them, hopefully your family member will be able to get everything back from them.

I keep on getting lots of pains across my stomach but i think its from him stretching out and moving. also been getting stabbing pain but not too much tightening. everyone asks, any contractions yet but as he is my first how would i know for sure?

Dont be too organised today, you will be putting me to shame as i plan to just sit here and watch tv!

LOL I know what you mean, how are we meant to know whether the pains are early contractions or not when it is baby number one!

my hospital dont talk about induction until you are 41 weeks. i have my midwife appointments each week, and my next hospital appointment is booked for 41 weeks. I did workout that the latest day they will let me deliver is haloween, he has a mummies little pumpkin outfit ready im hoping he comes earier than that though.

What do you still need for the nursery? mine is about ready just want to do a clean and 'stock check' on thursday to make sure i have everything.

Good luck HayleyJayne! Don't worry about the nursery: Greg's 7 months now and we've still not properly sorted his out, but he doesn't complain! He slept in our room for the first 4 months anyway, so the nursery was really just a store room for all the baby junk, and still is but with a baby in it at night.

I remember the first time not knowing if I was in labour or not. They say that contractions are meant to feel like period pains, but for me *TMI alert - look away now!* it was like the stomach cramps you get just before a major bout of diarrhea. Contraction is a good word for it - you just feel all the muscles (well, flab!) in your stomach all pulling in together. You might not be sure at first, but once you're well on your way there's no mistaking it!

Lunar: get that sodding '15 days' bit updated in your sig!! It's driving me mad! I'm lousy at remembering dates, but I know it has said 15 days for what feels like the past 6 months. Good luck to you both!
