So much has happened since I last posted.

We are now officially debt free with the exception of the money we owe my dad, which is going down nicely :)

We also have £2500 in savings. The house we are renting is lovely and the feeling of not owing money is incredible.

WOW! I've not checked this thread for ages, what amazing progress you've made over the past few months. Well done - you really deserve it for all the hard work you've put in.

I am going to close this thread now as it has taken me such a long way and I feel ready to close this chapter.

Our next goal is to save for a deposit to be able to buy a new house. Thanks to all of you who have been so supportive.

Sorry for posting on a 'closed' thread, but if you do ever check up on it I wanted to stick my tuppence in to say well done. Hopefully we'll see you around on the odd occasion as a debt-free success story! Good luck with the savings and all the best for the future. Hugs to baba! xxx
