I haven't been posting as much as I would have liked just recently. The days have been flying by! I go back to work on the 1st April and it is definitely coming round quickly .

Hayley, ou are doing really well with the debt busting this year. Do you have any idea when you will be debt free? Are you looking to buy a new house? I cant wait to be able to buy our own house. I need to somehow block right move from my computer.

How is your DD getting on? I can really see DS's personality starting to show now, i cant believe how fast he is growing and changing.

Hi Lunar, it is amazing how fast they change! I can't believe how much she can do now either :)

Well a lot has been happening. We have decided to sell the house and an offer was made straight away.

It seems we will be looking to move the first week of April! I think it is going to be a busy few weeks.

    Hi Hayley
well done on all you have achieved during the course of the thread, having a baby getting things organised, etc.

I am a little surprised that you are selling baby clothes already. I kept mine so that i didn't have to buy new the next time. Most of my clothes though were fairly neutral so it wouldn't have mattered what sex baby i had next.

good luck with the move and the continued debt busting and weight losing this year.

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • Thanks Chevalier :)

I am selling baby clothes as my daughter is likely to be the only baby I will ever have. I'd not rule it out but if I have another I am happy to start again.

wow hayley, you are doing so well. it must have been such a big decission to sel your house and rent. Im so pleased for you that the debt will be gone. We are saving for a deposit too, hoping to be able to buy and move in by august.

My outgrown baby clothes are in boxes, i cant part with them yet for some reason. I definatly want to have a second if im able to in a couple of years, so that can be my excuse.

Good luck with the saving Lunar :)

I felt quite sorry for myself this morning. I guess a few very busy days have caught up with me!

Our house sale is progressing. I jut hope we get the contracts exchanged before we need to sign the rental agreement. We are just waiting on our purchaser providing proof of buildings insurance on our house then we are good to go :)

So much has happened since I last posted.

We are now officially debt free with the exception of the money we owe my dad, which is going down nicely :)

We also have £2500 in savings. The house we are renting is lovely and the feeling of not owing money is incredible.

I am going to close this thread now as it has taken me such a long way and I feel ready to close this chapter.

Our next goal is to save for a deposit to be able to buy a new house. Thanks to all of you who have been so supportive.
