Well, I've just had a real treat - phone rang late this afternoon, friend had two tickets to our choral society's birthday concert tonight, would I like to join her? Thought for all of two seconds about the still to be done housework items and said "yes please!" It was really fantastic, best concert I've been to in ages. DH happy to fall asleep in front of TV without me nagging for once! Hope you've all had something good today too!

Well, a busy day today as it was our Gala day. Dipped in for half an hour and then off to a wedding. I didn't know the other guests so did find it a bit difficult but was easier tonight when my family arrived. I decided not to drink so I didn't have to pay over £30 for a taxi. I didn't mind driving home and I had nothing stronger than soda and lime! Good for the liver I say.

I am having good days and not quite so good days at the moment, hence the no posting. However, I do try and have a quick squint from time to time.

Happy birthday to the Haribo twins and so sorry to hear about the cat.

Congratulations to anyone else who has just celebrated, is celebrating or about to celebrate.

Welcome too to new folk - you are always welcome.

PenPin, Smokey and JackieO - special mention.
