    Morning all :hello:

Thanks for the birthday wishes for the girls. :A They had us up at 6am and the house is strewn with wrapping paper. We just had a lovely cooked breakfast sitting on the decking trying to spot squirrels. The weather is lovely and I just hope it lasts for the party tommorrow. I'm a bit wrung out from yesterday, it's silly but it was a hell of a lot more traumatic than I'd prepared myself for,I think in part becuase the girls were so very upset.

Need to go and clear up the breakfast dishes, then ice the cakes and clean the house before the out-laws arrive for tea tonight. Just doing salmon fillets, new potatoes and salad.

Hope you all have a good day.

    Haribo x

Ps....I wanted to say a huuuuuuuuuuuge thankyou to Pink for being at the end of the phone yesterday and listening to my blubbing. :o :A

    Morning everybody :hello:

    ((((Penny-Pincher!!)))) ((((Haribo))))

Up early this morning for no good reason other than a minor stomach upset (self inflicted I should add, before anybody starts feeling sorry for me :o)

Glad I am up though, as I've got loads to do today - I'm putting my mum up tonight, and the flat looks like a proper Kim and Aggie project  so I've got to get it fit to be seen!

I have also been trying to arrange my 30th birthday do - it's three weeks away now (my actual birthday is closer to 4 weeks away, but 3 weeks' time is when I can best fit in a "do" as I will be away in Paris with a couple of my girlie mates for my actual birthday :j :D I have been in two minds about whether to have a proper party and invite all my friends, or just take my immediate family out to a really nice restaurant (the budget will only run to one of the above!) I am finding it difficult to organise a bigger do as what I would really like is a pub that will let me book their beer garden. What I don't want is a function room that's just got unbooked access to the beer garden, because that will presumably mean it becomes "smokers' corner" for the rest of the pub's clientele  I really disagree with the smoking ban even as a non-smoker - I think people should be able to smoke in designated areas of pubs. As it is, beer gardens have all been ruined for everybody else :(

Anyway, there are a couple of pubs I am going to check out today, but I'm starting to think I prefer the stress-free option of taking my family (mum, dad, bro, bro's girlfriend - sis will be in Basra by then :() out to the fantastic posh Indian restaurant near my church.

Shez, I saw your post yesterday about the rice :A I did manage to get some, thanks, and would have bought more if it wasn't for the fact that I got a mega haul of meat bargains and had no space left in the trolley. Think I might go back tomorrow for more. I do use loads of risotto rice so it's not just pointless stockpiling.

Anyway, must get on. I am waiting to hear from Mum about what time she will be coming into town. She is going to the hairdresser this morning and it's one of these ones where you turn up and they tell you when they'll be able to see you, so if she gets an early appointment she might come into London quite soon afterwards. We are going to the opera at Holland Park this evening (on those £10 tickets I was banging on about a couple of months ago :D) but if she comes into town earlier we will go to the V&A or some other similarly civilised free attraction :D

    Bye for now
    Love Rzl xx

Morning all, well today I can tackle the [STRIKE]bombsite[/STRIKE] house.

Today I want to really be ruthless with my clothes and DD's clothes. There is no point kidding myself that they will ever fit me so they will be going, either ebay or charity shop.;)

Woould like a cake tin or box and a biscuit jar, for all those lovely hobnobs. Will head to one of the best shops in the world 'Home Bargains' to see what they have.

Even an old fashioned biscuit tin would do the trick.

Also need to find something for OH from the girls for Fathers Day tomorrow!

Bit stuck re this to be honest.

Bread maker going on in a mo, we're off to a barbeque tonight so don't need to think aboout tea and off to the Food Show tomorrow so will probably sling a joint in the slowcooker so I won't have to worrry about food when we get back..............erm just realised its a Food Show, so we'll probably be quite full:rolleyes::rotfl:DUH.

Anyway hope you all have a good day and for those who are going through it at the mo, here's a hug.:grouphug:

    Morning everyone

(((Hugs))) to everyone. I'm sorry about Parsley, Haribo take comfort in the fact that she went peacefully and give yourself time to recover.

I'm just waiting for my Dstep-bro to turn up to finish my kitchen fitting. After hes arrived I'm off to the market to stock up on mince, then I'm going to go to Mr T's to use up some clubcard voucher that are about to expire so I'll buy more storecupboard staples. When we got the new kitchen we were going to get rid of the small chest freezer in the garage but have decided to keep it and fill it with milk, flour and other useful things.

Apart from that I'm hoping to do some gardening and possible some ironing. Tea will be something Mexican proberbly Enchilladas yummy

    have a good day

    Morning everyone!
Happy Birthday Haribo twins!!:bdaycake: hope you have a lovely party!

Sunny but abit chilly here today - DD and I picked "loads" of strawberries at my neighbours allotment yesterday - and there's only so many you can eat at one time - so need to think of what to do with the rest before they go off - especially as they don't really freeze. Plan to do a strawberry tart, but after that haven't got a clue! don't know that i've got all the stuff required to do strawb jam? and I don't really want to go buy stuff I wont use again!

Apart from that I'm in a "don't know what I want to do" sort of mood:confused:

Trooping the colour today - so if you coming to London it will be busy!

((Hugs)) to all those not feeling well.
    Well done to Mrs N9eav.
Stefejb - Another momentus win for Holland I see! must be yr lucky bunting!;)
bargainrzl - glad you got the rice. enjoy the opera tonite!

have a good saturday all xxx

    Morning All
Bright & sunny here today, WM, DW & BM all going, need to go to the Post Office & spend an hour at the local fete, but thats about it for today apart from housework as we have friends visiting us this evening.
Happy B'day to the Haribo girls & big hugs to PP.
If I get time I need to play with my overlocker as I think it will be quicker at making the bags.
I hope everyone has a good day.
    Hugs Hester
