Squiggly enjoy your date, don't know what you would call him at the moment, boyfriend sounds a bit silly, perhaps just say I am seeing someone, enjoy

I shall!!! :j It's very exciting - specially having been on my own for nearly 7 years (well, not including DDs!!). He's very nice though, has been very complimentary & thoughtful
Welcome to newbies too.
Beth, glad to hear you've had a lovely day - about time you had something nice to think about.
Sunnyday/Mioliere, hope you both feel brighter soon.
Was hoping my builder could fit my bathroom in this week while I'm away, but he can't so will be doing 1st week of July. I don't mind waiting for him though
Known him nearly 20 years (he was best man at my wedding to exOH!!) and he is very competitive on his quotes too

Evening Everyone
Struggling to know what to say atm, apart from the weather, which I am sure you do not need the monotonous statments on. Life is good, house is easy to clean and DH always willing to lend a hand (or take over). Cooking fresh veg/meat, Pork Loin in the SC with prunes, cauliflower cheese, runner beans, carrots & potatoes. Really feel a bit of a fraud. More than happy to comfort, hug, congratulate etc., but may post less frequently.
:grouphug: Mioliere - sorry to hear you are not feeling good - take it easy for a day or two. Pen-Pin - glad you are feeling a bit better now. Smoky & LO's, Bethebee glad to hear you have had a good day, and got tenants, landlords like you are needed. SD - enjoy your new "friend". Sunnyday overindulgence:rolleyes: , know what you meanbout internet connection Busygirl, everyone else who needs or would like a hug :grouphug:
HH - practicing overlocking - well I've heard it called some things

:bdaycake: :bdaycake: H-J girls (how do you cope with HJ for your Mum, you can always come on here - we would understand :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: )

phone saga has been resolved. neighbour brought it round this afternoon. She taken it in and signed for it. Phoned Virgin back to stop the replacement being sent and they still can't understand what has happened. According to their computer and Lynx couriers the phone was never ordered or delivered....
any way love my new phone!

Evening Oldies:p & Newbies
Had a lovely time with friends and had a lovely bunch of roses bought for me:D .....OH did a nice spread and we managed to dodge the rain and sit outside in the sunshine. Was able to eat a whole crusty roll, so was very pleased with that.
OH just doing a brew then I may call it a night. Got a lovely piece of beef for dinner tomorrow which DD wants cooked in the SC and between them are doing a roast dinner;)
I forgot to say before that my new helper has been brilliant and seems a lovely young woman....makes me sound very old, but you know what I mean:rolleyes:
Anyway, will say goodnight and god bless.
