Hugs re the puss cat haribo- i was incoherant when I had to have Macey ut down although had to take her to the vet so yours is extra special to come to the house and avoid the stress of a car journey....hope the burial goes ok :) Macey is cremated in a pot and will be planted under a treet when I get roud to it - quite like chatting to her as I come into the house though so she may just stay where she is - even if others dont like it!
Hope others have a good day! Off to make lunck & have a look at the weight loss thread as I must join! Getting very weeblesque!

    Afternoon All

It's so cold here today. Tried the toffee vodka last night - OMG so strong, but so good!!!

Have a debate over dinner, it's either going to be burgers again or sausages. Have to see how the mood takes us I guess. Washing's out on the line - let's just hope it doesn't rain.

Got a useless film on the tv, will have to put a dvd on as this is rubbish. Waiting for a phone call from someone who's going to take a look at the kitchen and bathroom at the flat. Also waiting to hear when another company's coming to quote me on the windows.

Going to book the flights to Spain later ready for mine and Mum's holiday in September. We're also going to Florida next year as Mum won a competition:j

Might do some cooking later, will check the cupboards to see what ingredients we have.

    Hope everyone's ok

The noise is quite incredible but wonderful at the same time iykwim just wish I had had the camera at the ready! neighbours were moaning at the waste of fuel!

I am still trying to get used to the new haircut, quite a bit shorter in a layered bob but too many layers to control now! thank goodness for straighteners!:D I guess with practice I will get used to it, it is a lot cooler though.

Afternoon all. Am having a short break as am really cleaning like mad today! Has nothing to do with the fact that DH's cousin + partner are arriving tomorrow for a few days:rolleyes:
Anyway, I have fairly raced round so far and have managed to tick off loads! WM is on load number 4 and everything seems to be drying well outside. Have ironed sheets (why??? I never normally do!!) and scrubbed things I've never thought about before!
Father's Day card arrived this morning - DH really thrilled and thinks DS remembered all by himself. Shan't mention the text messages I've been sending this week!
Congratulations to Mrs N9eav - we need teachers!!!! Is this primary or secondary?
Hope the Haribo twins are having a great birthday despite yesterday's sadness.
    Anniestar, what news of Phoebe?
OK, I'd better get back to the dreaded house work before I get too comfortable. ((HUGS)) to all who need one.

    evening all,

had a lovely day, went for a long walk through the woods, about 9 miles I think, saw 5 deer, stopped about half way for a picnic of tuna and mayo sandwiches and crisps, which was nice. We then went up to the scarecrow festival which was terrible, £5 to get in to look around 2 gardens with scarecrows in, and a look at the church flowers, we snuck in the church anyway and the flowers were terrible, all dried flowers in vases, and the church lady looked down her nose at us because we took the dog in the church  , any way glad we did not pay, will not be going there again. Came home and had an hours rest on the bed, and am now waiting for DD to come home, and curry to be delivered :D , will settle down and watch Dr Who eat curry and drink wine, lovely.

Kathy sorry to hear you still feel unwell, dose yourself up and get to bed nice and early, love and hugs to you xx

Evening all, I've had a wonderfull day :j and would like to share it with you, as it makes a change from all the carp I have posted for the last 3 weeks. Our 2 DD's DGD and her boy friend came for the day. We spent it out in the garden, chatting and had so much laughter (best sound ever)

DGD's first BF, bless, they are both 15 and held hands throughout the day, even during lunch which was HM soup and fresh warm crusty bread followed by melon and Strawbs. He's a lovely lad so didn't feel the need to say ' if you break her heart I will do the same to your neck' I did say that to both DD's BF's.

They have just left and DH has gone for a pint so here I am, with my friends.

The 2 viewings for the house to-let went well, I think it's down to all the best wishes you have sent. :A 1st couple have no children, 2nd couple have a 5yr old and 1 on the way. Call me stupid but I'm going to offer the house to the 2nd couple as I think they are more in need. So many to-lets say no kids, can't understand that when renting a 2 bed house. So will phone them tomorrow as promised and tell them of our/MY deccision.
DH said it would be better to rent to the couple without kids, no writing on the walls etc. but they wouldn't have any probs finding a place. Just really felt for the woman, 5 mths pregnant and desperate to move closer to where her DD goes to school.

Just went to get a glass of wine but can't open the bottle with my gammy arm so I opened a bottle that has a screw top, a Calafornian Rose we've had for yonks ---- reminds me!! must do some pickled onions this year :rotfl:

Well, I think I have out Moliered doing a Moliere, bless yah.

Hugs to all, with sugar on top.

    Evening gang.

Happy Birthday Miss Haribo. :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Miss Haribo :bdaycake:

Just been catching up on the daily, whilst waiting for tea to cook. Not very OS again today, Chicken Arrabiata (from M&S) with 33% off, this was by request for Mr Twit. As he has been working in Gateshead since we returned from holiday, I thought I'd spoil him :happyhear
Miss Twit has gone to work, she does a few hours at a chinese takeaway and really enjoys it and she gets her tea...bonus...

The cat has been a beast again, I returned from town to find a pile of pigeon feathers, one foot, 2 wings, a head and what looked like a liver. There was also a pile of seeds and grain, I can only hope it enjoyed its last supper (the pigeon) Aston, the cat, is curled up asleep on my bed, no doubt he won't want any supper.

Well done on the property let Beth.
Kathy, I hope you get over this cold soon.
Redruby, hope you enjoyed your "rest on the bed"

Big gentle hugs to those in need or pain or with poorly loved ones.

Love to all The Twit :grouphug:
