My paperbag albums arrived today :j :j :j We have been up at a warehouse and there was loads of bits really cheap (stemmed flowers in packs for 10p and 10 x card & envelope pack for 70p) I now just need to work out what I want to do in the albums .....
Thankyou Melissa for the suggestions of paperbag albums, I am hoping I can get them to look as beautiful as yours!

If you want to include all the photo's why dont you decorate an envelope on one of the pages and tuck some of the same style piccys into that page iuswim, you could also make a slide out pocket with a tag and a picture on either side of the tag with a bit of ribbon to pull it out or attach a fold out piece of paper with a couple of pictures on, so that on one page you would have a couple of pictures. I hope you understand what I mean. The page would have one photo on but hidden would be other photos using the above methods.

I totally forgot I could do all that with an envelope book. Feel a bit daft now, but i've not been to well the past few days so i'll put it down to that lol.
I am going to practise with an A6 envelope one.*~* My life is a little mystery that I am still trying to solve*~*0 -
Here is the quick page I did last night using the BG papers and embellishments

I love that page, it's beautiful :T:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Hmm...need a title-y thingy for a 'you've been born' page.
Any ideas?
Thanks :PSignature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
SaucySecrets - how about "hello" or "welcome" - I'm sorry they're really crup. I haven't had chance to dig out my bind-it-all yet.
Rusty - I'm sure your paperbag albums will look fab - they were really easy to use.
S_michaels - sorry if you've already mentioned it but what size scrapbook were you doing for your mum? If its a 12x12 album they normally come with 10 protective pages, but as you can put two sheets in each sleeve they hold 20 pages. Also you can buy extra sleeves for a lot of albums. I never sketch my pages before doing them - maybe that's where I'm going wrong!!
Flourgirl - beautiful page - really pretty colours, and your grandaughter is a right cutie!
Mshelsbels - paperbag albums are a great option - they are quite cheap, they're about a pound each on ebay for a pre-stitched one. A note of caution though I tried punching mine with a normal hole punch and it wouldn't work - the bags were too thick - it drove me crackers!0 -
S_michaels -this is a really nice paper pad of 12x12 papers in nice rustic, mellow colours, I've got one of these myself. Along with all the papers you get sheets of matching alphabets, tags, shapes, words - you get so much.0

now for my really silly question I mean questions!
1. What's the best to use to stick my pics down? Normal glue, UHU Spray or double sided tape?
2. I'm just wondering if there is something out there that will hold all my pages together, like a tresaury tag I suppose but nicer! Does that make sense?:xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile0 -
hels102 - i use double sided tape, a lot of people just use pritt sticks. Instead of tresaury tags (I had to google them as I wasn't sure what they were) you could use these ball and chain thingies:

or some book rings - I'm just off to find you a link.0
