Mines probably a ten minute drive, no more really, but i cant drive! I have to be very nice to the boyfriend and get him too. Not too difficult, but ive got a broken ankle, so it may be more trouble then its worth at the moment!!
Im just very curious as to whether they are good quality, and worth the buy. Have you done 12 x 12 before? Are they difficult?Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
SaucySecrets - I've done a few 12x12 pages and I find them harder to do than smaller sizes, there seems to be so much space to fill. It might just be me though!!
S_michaels - no probs, just glad to help.0 -
If I go tomorrow or Sunday (so I can go to Aldi as well) I will let you know what the scrap books are like.*~* My life is a little mystery that I am still trying to solve*~*0

Morning girls! :hello:
Wanted to ask you, Xyron V. Sizzix (or any other die-cut machine). Which is better? Can you tell me pros/cons? I've only used the Big Shot and absolutely love it but noticed a Xyron at nearly half the priceGC March Wk1 £28.72/£30 Wk2 £28.4/£29

Didn't get to an Aldi but I did go to the works. I bought a 12 x 12 scrap book in bright blue, (My mum's fav colour) for £4.99 (they also had them in red)
They had another one for £5.99 which you got paper and stickers with that also had a slot in the front for a photo. This was in a lilac colour and was quite old fashioned looking.
They also had another kit in a box for £5.99 which was a stripy spiral book and you got stickers and a stencil free with but I think that was more aimed at kids.
Did get a set of letters and numbers for 99p though which I'm really chuffed at, they had them in a variety of colours and designs, took me a while to choose and I'll definately be going back.*~* My life is a little mystery that I am still trying to solve*~*0 -

Does anyone know if that's good value or not?*~* My life is a little mystery that I am still trying to solve*~*0 -

Personally I would say yes ... you may be able to find cheaper elsewhere though but by the time you have added on postage and papers etc etc I would say this would be cheaperRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
That's what I thought, only problem i have with buying it is finding someone to give them to when I have finished them.
With my 12 x 12 album being bright blue do you think i should stick to a blue theme or do you think I can go for any colours as long as they are slo bright and funky?*~* My life is a little mystery that I am still trying to solve*~*0 -
I think melissa or rainmac would be able to help you with that better than me. Sorry I am just a beginner myself, Rainmac and Melissa aswell as PLM are the pros
If you wanted something you could do entirely yourself you could buy or make paperbag albumsthey are cheap and nice
