Aww happy birthdays Melissas boy!! I didn't know!!

Can I just warn you all now that Mel is a bad influence and she will have you buying everything before you know it!! :o

Hels, if you want any help I am always willing to offer any advice :) My best tip is just to go shopping and once you find some papers and embellishments (they do some cute seaside ones at Poundland) then you will find the inspiration will flow from there. How about cutting sandcastles from sandpaper? Do you have any shells or anything to stick on?

Wow you have a super steady hand as those flowers are fab, I assumed you'd bought them ;)

Nope sorry not me! I'm not allowed to buy anything for a long while now until we have finances coming in other than my measly wage. I just printed off some papers (brown and rustic orange both basic grey ;)) then on the back I printed the templates and cut them with a scalpel then rounded off the edges ;)

I was looking on ebay for prima flowers but just couldn't bring myself to pay for them at the min :(

Rusty - the prima flowers seem like quite a good buy when I got them. But when they arrived I was a bit disappointed because some of them were so small. I tend to buy bigger ones now, sort of about an inch in size - I use those loads more.
Hels - I am really into tearing my scrapbook paper at the minute and addindg it to my layouts. Maybe you could try and tear a piece and use it as waves!

Hels - This site has got papers to download, i thought you could maybe incorporate some buckets and spades and some paper that looks like sand? If you download the backgrounds and paper on page 4 there footsteps and waves paper.

Saucy - its my son's 7th birthday today, so I'm just about to wrap his presents. We're taking him bowling later - he's much better than me!! Have you thought about buying a bind-it-all machine so you could make your own scrapbooks like the pink pig range ones???
Here's the paper pad that I was on about yesterday. I used these papers on my first paper bag album, they are really pretty:

Thanks furry, he's told me I have to wait till tomorrow, think he's delaying the inevitable :(

OH has told me that U2 are going to be at Wembley in the summer and maybe we could see if we could get tickets, I've loved U2 for years and when I was 12 wanted to marry Larry Mullen, the drummer :p

    Hello everyone,
Oh I really need your help, I think I'm thinking to much about making a scrapbook page and I'm not getting the inspiration I need, Or I'm just not meant to make them! I've just laid out a few pics which I would like to try and possibly pinch Rusty's frame idea!
Here are the pics I want to use, I would be so grateful if you could point me in the right direction, what to use etc, how to lay out, Oh I'm useless on times..
Hels not sure if this site will help you shows you different layouts and you can print off a whole themed kit I searched for sea themes for you and these are the kits it bought up hth
