The parents will be overjoyed with their gifts!! Have you decided what size you are going to do yet, 12x12 would be a hard task to get done in the time, have you considered doing some mini books?? They would work out a lot cheaper. You could buy loads of blank chipboard with holes in, get yourself some book rings to keep them together and then make your pages out of patterned paper? Did you notice the paper bags that I've made - it would be similar to those? Thanks for the compliment!!
  • At the moment im looking at 8x8, as the most gorgeous baby papers seem to come in that size, but i might go a little smaller. Thanks for the idea :) Your paper bag scrapbooks are gorgeous, i might buy some from ebay to have a play with.
Its very exciting, i love making things, but its been a while and usually i wonder round shops picking up bits and pieces but with my ankle it'll have to be all online this time!
Anyways, im off to bed now, but its been lovely talking to you. Thank you :)
Have a good night, speak to you tommorow!

hels, I love your pictures! I would maybe try adding some words about the photos e.g. (for seaside pic) "oh we do like to be beside the seaside" or "brrrr it's cold" and/or you could add some journalling - write down where you were, who was there, date, what you were doing etc. Could also add some embellishments such as stickers or chipboard shapes, ribbons etc.

Does that make any sense, sorry, I'm a scrapbook newbie really, bet melissa will pop along with much better ideas ;)

Hels102 - gorgeous pictures!! The first two would look great with some blue or muted colours, the other four would look great with some brighter colours. When I put two pictures to a page I tend to cut them down a little if possible and then mount then on a couple of layers of cardstock/paper to make them stand out more. Have you got any ribbons or flowers that you could add to the pages?
    Good afternoon Saucy and Rainy!!
