I was told today that clubcard 2 expires in December 08 and the points will go back to 1 point per £1 is this true?

    I thought it was permanent.

I rang Virgin Holidays on Friday, and during the conversation the operator told me that there was a delay of 7 - 10 days on Tesco sending out Virgin Holidays deals vouchers. Anyone have any info on this?

Surely you mean 09? I thought the T&C's said 'it can be withdrawn at any time'.

I ordered some Hilton vouchers online and they came in 4 days.

  • We are always skint, take your vouchers into the store, and ask to double up for online toys. They print you a voucher that you take home with a special code that you enter when you do your online order.

On another note, regarding taking items back for a refund. I had to take a small item back today (faulty) and was told it is now Tesco policy that they deduct your points back off your clubcard for returned goods.

Tesco customer services told me they don't have a cut of date for Clubcard 2 ending, but pointed out that conditions advertised state that it could be pulled any time.

Question: Have two virtual accounts(at different addresses) & both when i log into the clubcard account info states that they dont have my address and i should contact CS. I have accumulated points on both. I assume this should be ok and i will receive mailing with the correct points? With previous virtual accounts i have received mailings and i guess as they both say this it should be? What do you think? My accounts reads like this:

Fields with an asterisk * are mandatory
    Your Clubcard details

The Clubcard number you use on Tesco.com purchases is **************3321
We don't seem to have your address. Please call the Clubcard Helpline on 0800 591 688 or register online this link will take you outside the accessible website.
For more information on Clubcard Vouchers or to make changes to your Clubcard account click here this link will take you outside the accessible website

How will you get a mailing if they don't know your address?
I would follow their instructions to make sure your account is set up properly and do it online.

I use tesco to get my weekly grocery shop.
I dont buy any clothes etc there.
I thought about a clubcard to help reduce my grocery bill.

What are the pro's and con's of clubcards please

I had a clubcard once, and lost it
Can I apply for another (although I understand any points on old card will be nullified)

Also, how do I identfy genuine tesco emails from phishing ones?

    thank you
  • Hey all Im confused about how to save up clubcard tokens, can anyone help me?

I received £8.50 in tokens this time and up until now we have just used them toward the weekly shop but we've decided to save them for a few bits for the kids christmas. How do we do it?
Is it as simple as keeping (and not losing) the tokens? OR do they get credited back onto our card after so long (like by next statement)??

Yes. The tokens have a 2 year 'use by' date on them.
