Ah, interesting. So you never need physical clubcard for some of them, just a virtual account??? On the subject of mailings; i get ones i can use in store but would rather have ones i can use online? Any way i can go about this? Thanks

I have one 'virtual' clubcard - you just sign up again on tesco.com with a different email address and tick the Don't have a Clubcard? Click this box: - hey presto, you have another account you can collect points on. Not sure how you can get online codes with mailing but I get some on the account I use for mainly online shops - so it may be 'intelligent' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

hmmm hoping somebody will know the answer to this one....is the 12 month limit on points for ink cartirdge recycling 12 months from when you recycled your last 30, or is it per 12 months as in Jan-Dec?

Also if you ring Tesco will they be able to tell you when you last had points for this added? (I hate ringing them so only do it if i absolutely must, i get nothing but unhelpful rude staff every time i call!)

Quick question guys, searched and this was the best thread I could come up with! There was a thread recently with a link to a website that highlighted the best offers/CC points in stores at the time that offered best value.

Could someone please direct me to this?

Whenever I have used tesco vouchers for hotels they have not been accepted for meals and also I was just given one price by the central reservations team a 'tesco' rate. Is this a new more generous culture?!

Not sure if this is the right place but today I converted £10 of vouchers to £20 clothing vouchers, bought £20.50 worth of clothes and acccessories plus toilet paper and shoe polish taking the total to £25.28. I used the Daily Mail £5 off clothing on a £20 spend and then used the £20 clothing voucher for the remainder. Shopping cost me 28p!

Just as well as I had left my bankcard at home. Shopping included school tights for daughter and pyjamas for her Christmas (yes my first Christmas present has been bought).

Instead of buying points off of ebay purchase ink cartridges. For £9.99 you can get 10 cartridges and get 1000 points. Much better deal. Just search on tesco points and you will find some sellers. I have used this and the ink cartridges and envelopes get sent out and you fill in your details and post. Points added within weeks. Better still ask friends and family for ink cartridges and send them yourself.

I think it will only work with Hilton as they send you Hilton vouchers in exchange for your Clubcard ones so effectively they are cash - just use them to settle your bill.

If you have the Tesco Clubcard Credit Card you only get 1 point for every 4 you spend outside Tesco as opposed to the Tesco Platinum Credit Card (no longer available but I have one ) which gives you 1 point for every £2.
If you got £130 from Amex you spent £26000 :eek:. If you used your Tesco Clubcard Credit Card for this instead (not counting now double points from Tesco shopping) you would have received £65 in Clubcard vouchers worth £130 if doubled up (same as AMEX) but UP TO £260 if you exchange them for Clubcard Deals :T. I work on a 3X value as you have to pay more in vouchers for some deals but that's still £195 if you can find something to use them on.
