The third mailing had 6 lots of extra point coupons for stuff I actually buy - Tesco must be slipping up:rolleyes:
Does anyone know how many accounts you can have at one address?
I only opened the extra accounts to recycle more ink cartridges, but since found out it's limited to 30 per address so I've had to 'borrow' addresses from friends who don't shop at Tesco.
Since I've got the accounts it seems a shame to waste them So I do like jeferey suggests- 150 points per card then use the next one
And a warning to anyone thinking of opening multiple accounts:-
General- Tesco Freetime may refuse (at all times acting reasonably) any Clubcard rewards order where there is evidence of abuse or attempted abuse of the Clubcard Scheme or where the customer has not acted as a Consumer. For the avoidance of doubt abuse in this clause includes, but is not limited to, having Clubcard accounts in fictitious names, having multiple Clubcard accounts or multiple addresses, multiple memberships of a Clubcard club, claiming points not earned from their own transactions, making multiple purchases of products attracting bonus points and returning those goods for a refund (but keeping the Clubcard points earned from the purchase) or breaching of any terms of the Clubcard scheme.
So how do people link all the points with this scheme? If you have 'x' points on one card at one address, 'y' on another at another address etc and you want to combine them altogether for a holiday, surely Tesco will identify that as fraud.0 -

Oh well, at least that has "avoided any doubt!" - it seems like my clubcard rewards are all living on borrowed time then!0 -
Went into Tesco's today to take advantage of their 'double up' offer. This is the first time i've done this and I swapped a £10.00 for £20.00 clothing voucher and a £5.00 voucher for wine giving me a £10.00 voucher. All good???
NO .
I bought (this is how it is on the reciept)
7pp eng briefs (pants) =£2.00
Girls ftwr (plimsols) = £1.50
2pk trousers = £7.00
Boys bts trs (boys back to school trousers) =£7.00
Home n wear dept (these were shoes but didn't have the barcode on them so the manager came and put them through on this department =£5.00.
grand sum of £22.50.
Only one of the £10.00 vouchers would go through. The reason being I asked for clothing rewards double up NOT Back To School.
There was nothing she could do saying I had to just keep hold of the other voucher. I walked out a bit !!!!!! off because I could ill afford another £10 + to pay for the remainder of the uniform. He needs it wether I pay by cash or rewards and I didn't want to convert any more vouchers.
It weren't til I got home that I wondered why did one go through then. If one goes through they should have honoured the other
. They were both marked clothing!
I feel ripped off somewhat and a little angry at myself for not realising or questioning why the one voucher was accepted.
I shall just stick to converting them into deals from now on.
Any ideas why this happened ??Capital one was £1000.00 now £0.00:j
Barclaycard was £250.00 now £190. 00
Asda credit card was £500.00 now £0.00:j
Aim to be credit card free by December 2012... Mostly done0 -
strawberry, i suspect that the problem was with the home n wear item that had to be put through manually, rather than some ofthe items being back to school clothing.
I had some back to school clothing in my basket among with some adult clothing. I paid with a doubled up clothing voucher and it all went through smoothly.0 -
Has anyone checked out the partner rewards yet - the holidays seem to have attracted new limits - £400 for Cosmos & £700 for Virgin - my holiday plans for next year have just hit the fan!! Time for a rethink!0

Tesco don't seem to check on the number of cards per household then?
So I should be safe opening a couple of accounts for my uncle & cousin who are moving in soon?;)0 -
