Aldi are currently doing 11W and 20W for 99p. As I've often found it difficult to get hold of the 20W (100W equivalent), I bought 10 and got busy installing them around the house, and am quite impressed. Good light output, good light spectrum (yellowish, like normal bulbs, not that awful greenish/blue light that makes everyone look like vampires), and a very good price!
  • How much of a difference in power is there if you use enery saving bulbs? What does it equate to in ££?

    Thanks

Can anyone suggest energy saving bulbs for use on a dimmer switch?
Was looking for them at the weekend, but no joy. All I saw stated that they would not work on a dimmer switched system. I have tried standard ones on a dimmer switched sand they do not work on anything under the maximum light setting.
