    Morning Everyone

Lots of (((Hugs))) to all those in need of one and especially Haribo and Anniestar, as you know we lost two cats in 6 months and I can't face getting another one as I can't go through all the upset again.

I definately need a kick this morning my to-do list is massive and I just cant be bothered. Dstep-bro is coming tomorrow to put finish the kitchen and I know theres going to be more mess. Also my budget is completely out of control and I've had to lend my sis money as its so expensive in Turkey where there on holiday.

    Have a good day everyone

    Hi everyone

1st time posting on the OS board but I regularly read it, its my day off today and so far I have sat on the sofa and watched people gardening on tv, so instead I'm going to get off my bum and get some chores done.

A simple list to start I think

Clean the bathroom, tidy the kitchen and living room and a minimum of a hours weeding in the garden.

Computer down and up I get, fingers crossed

    Morning everyone!

Friday at last. Got a lift into work this morning from bf. I love it when he has to come into London as I get a lift all the way into the West End. Anything that stops me having to get on the tube is great!

HariboJunkie – sorry to hear about your cat. Some people just don’t understand how we get about our animals, but 9 years is a long time to have a pet. Thinking of you.

And re the baby birds. How cute! I haven’t been reading these threads for long, but I’m guessing that the babies just die if you don’t put them back up with momma. Awww.

HeavenLeigh – your baby is gorgeous! I’m almost 22 weeks pregnant with my first, so a scary, but exciting time in our household. Gradually getting used to the fact, eek!

Betheebee – I don’t know the full story about your house getting messed up, but know the feeling (slightly anyhows). We are annoyed at ex lodger as he managed to spill Ribena all down the middle of our cream carpet and then hid it by putting the bed over it! He says it happened when he was moving out, but it could have been there months and everyone knows what blackcurrant juice is like to get out! 1001 isn’t working so far, so if anyone has any suggestions, I’m all ears!

Redruby – good luck to bf. My bf is currently going through the whole test thing again for a motorbike. Thinking it will be cheaper on petrol. We both already have bikes, but only up 125cc and our CBTs are running out, so bf is taking the big test before the test gets harder in October!

The fairs you are going to sound lovely. Wish I lived in the country.

Dogrose – congrats on passing your exam!

P-P – I wish I could make things like that. I’ve always wanted to make my own stuff, but wouldn’t even have the first clue how to go about it. If I find something in a style that I like, I want to wear it in every colour rather than spend ages shopping for more stuff. I hate shopping. My bf loves it. Not sure where the switch happened!

Fizzel81 – re the tumbledrier. I haven’t got one as I’m convinced I won’t be able to stop using it for simple little things, and if you haven’t got it, you can’t miss it, right? But my mum said I will need one when the baby comes. Trying hard to resist, but can see what she means.

Chrisca50 – congrats on your wedding anniversary. I’ve been with bf almost 9 years and there is no sign of us getting married yet, so doubt I’ll ever get to 27 married. Redruby – hahaha, that what’s my bf always says when anyone mentions how long we’ve been together!

r.mac – you can make up for the not cooking when you are feeling better. The sickness does go away, and you do get more energy (supposedly – not sure where mine is). When I found I was pregnant, I was cooking dinner for me, bf, two permanent lodgers and a semi permanent lodger (all of them men except for me) and found it very difficult! Now it’s just me and bf and one lodger as we are gradually getting rid of them.

lvu – welcome. I’m quite new to all this too!

    Breakfast: Grabbed a homemade flapjack
Lunch: Ham/cheese sarnie, monster munch (was going to buy a sarnie, but resisted as I had to make one for bf, so decided might as well make my own as well!)
Dinner: sausages, pasta, Dolmio stir ins (haven’t managed to perfect a homemade sauce yet L)

OS today. Not very much. If my bump doesn’t hurt, may do some ironing tonight in front of hours and hours of EastEnders if bf goes out, but probably not. No one told me this pregnancy lark was going to hurt until the end bit!!

WM will have to go on as I need to get all my clothes ready for my holiday next week. Not that’s much I fit into any more.

Bf has finished painting the spare room now that lodger has moved out, so going to have a looksie on Argos website now to find furniture that matches the bedside lockers we already have.

Apologies for not posting yesterday, got some news to share.

We managed to sell our house and are now debt free :j.

I wanted to thank all of you for the wisdom and knowledge and support and guidance that you have given me over the years re cooking, planning, shopping, cleaning etc.

What you and this site have done have managed to completely recontruct the way I see things and that is a permanent, positive change.:T

I can pass on much of the knowledge gained not only to friends who struggle but also to my DD's whom I hope never have to deal with the misery that debt brings.

So back to normal, today I will be taking some stuff from the freezer for tonights tea.

Will get a wash on and one hung out.

Going to the food show in Birmingham on sunday to collect freebies and money off coupons so will plan a packed lunch for the train journey. Will stick the BM on for later.

Will need to spend some time this weekend getting rid of some of the clutter and clothes that we've ,ahem, outgrown.

pollyanna, in my old house i over used it, never had one before i had the boys and even then it was not untill ds 1st birthday (well just after) that i got my first one

when i moved i sold it as the new house im in now is tiny, but the big problem is now i have little space to dry the washing inside (i use kitchen or my room) but its taking longer than i thought for some items to dry and 2 days later they start getting the musty smell so ive gone and got one and will make room for it somewhere but have told myself i will air dry inside anything for 24 hours first then just use td to finish off.

in a bit of a peed mood this morning, ex late with child support and then it ends up comeing as a cheque from his mum, how nice to be bailed out everytime at the grand age of 38 (she bailed him alot last year)

still need to get shopping done, will probably hold off untill tomorrow now, i have enough milk and bits and bobs to make dinner today so will make do with what ive got, got dad comeing tomorrow so will shoot out when he is here for anything i desperatly need otherwise it can wait

    Morning all,

Not posted for a while. Feel very lazy as not done much. Only 2 WM loads which I need to put outside. Tis cloudy again so hope sun will break through. Also fussing the cats, of course which can take hours.

Also need to do menu-planning and a shop (eek).

Right I'm off, been on here too long today! Have a nice day all.
