    Morning all
Sunny here today, BIL is going away Saturday night, so hubby & I will have the house to ourselves.
W.I. last night with a local speaker who was quite interesting, but I still had trouble staying awake, still I won a raffle prize which was nice.
Off to work soon, so I hope everyone has a good day.
    Hugs Hester

Good morning everyone  I've woken up feeling under the weather (sore throat and general achiness :o ). Think I've caught what DH brought back from Sweden  My usual run will be postponed, and I'll go out on my bike later.

The weather forecast isn't great, so I'll do a bit in the polytunnel, and then potter as I can. I'm not complaining, as we need some more rain ;)

I want to do some more baking, and there's the ineviatbale pile of ironing, so plentyb to do. DD is going to a Film -theme fancy dress party, so I've offered to run up a Dorothy dress (Wizard of Oz -like this). Need to get some fabric first - eBay, probably, unless you know different ;)

    :grouphug: to you all.

    Good Morning All

Get well soon to all those feeling under the weather & (((hugs))) to everyone who needs one.

Well done on your diploma Dogrose  .

Managed to go to the barbeque last night and it was lovely, absolutley loads of food, have strawberry pavlova in the fridge to eat later as we were so stuffed we had to bring our desserts home.

Sun is shining at the moment and I am trying to make up my mind as to what to do today, I can either - go into town for some errands then off to my mums to pick up a dress she altered for DD, or stay at home & do some very necessary paperwork. Whatever I dont do today will have to be done tomorrow. If I go out it will be the best part of the day gone, oh well will finish my tea and decide.

Chicken breast in pitta with chips for tea tonight.

Have a great Friday the 13th

    Morning

((( hugs ))) to Haribo and family, it is so hard to lose a pet - my cat is 16 now, but still acts like a youngster.

Donny, it's no good writing it in small letters, we can still see what you are saying, :naughty: no chance of any sun here today :o

Lovely day yesterday looking after DGD, she is gorgeous, but is into everything and she hasn't started walking yet, but pulled herself up into a standing positition, so won't be long.

Nipping into Home Bargains today as my birthday / Christmas box is filling nicely, looks like I might be in danger of being organised this year :D

Left over curry from last night for lunch, and mixed grill for dinner with Staffordshire oatcakes

Have a good day everyone x

Penny - several material stalls on Donny market on a Friday (Other days too, but know they are there on Fridays) - the stalls are the open air ones. Small stall just in front of the loos, sell designer type fabrics very reasonably, and others closer to the Corn Exchange Building. There is still 1, maybe 2 on the inside bit I think.

HH - enjoy your weekend;) ;)

    Morning all

Hugs to all the poorlies, I've had a blocked nose/cattarh (sp?) over the past week, there are a lot of low lying bugs around at the mo.

Well, doesn't time fly. It's our 27th wedding anniversary today. 2 years ago we were sunning ourselves in Sharm El Sheikh celebrating our silver wedding, looking out of the window I really wish we were there again now :D

Off to work in a mo, only until 11.30 though. Will make a detour to the PO to pick up a parcel which I havent a clue what it could be. Perhaps hubby has bought me a diamond ring as a surprise???? Have a beautiful bunch of flowers to arrange when I get home, though so that'll do for me.

    Have a good day everyone

    Morning, off to work soon.
Miss Twit is in the shower, just about to go and bellow at her to hurry up.
Mr Twit arrived home last night, from his week working away.

I've just been outside and seen two little birds sat on the telephone wire, chirping like mad....I think they are the parents of the little birdie my naughty cat brought in last night, he brought in another one a few nights ago. the parents are no doubt looking for their fledglings :( not sure what type of bird it was, I must have a google later to find out.

    Hugs to Haribo and Pen-Pin.

Catch up later, love to all The Twit :grouphug:
