Great to see everyone is getting their free rooms.
I have now booked another round for family visiting at christmas. Even tried 2x rooms same hotel, same night... just booked using different credit cards :-)

Think we've all learnt a couple of lessons:

    1) Be sure to book the same rate/description as days inn are offering.
    2) Stick to your guns if they first refuse. I had a bit of an email thread going for one room, but they eventually caved in.
    3) Exercise your right to cancel if you dont get what you want.

    Good luck everybody...

Got my free night with absolutely no problem. Days Inn Warwick £49.00
    Laterooms.com £40.00. :T :T

    Result = 1 free night.

Off to try and find some others on my route. Here's hoping!!

    Still a valid offer folks.
My recent bookings include two rooms for up north for new year, another stay at the Westminster in London (this is a nice, small but imaculate hotel btw, and ask for directions to 'Crumbles' - an excellent and cosy restaurant just around the corner.), and a motorwat stopover on the way to Gatwick next week.

So far.... £425 of hotel room stays for free.

Credit reminder:...thanks to a comment in an earlier thread by Sue H.

Had forgotten all about this thread, but found it by accident again. Compared with http://www.activehotels.com which came in £12.95 cheaper. Days came back really quickly. Brilliant, free night in the Warwick/Straford area, saved £52.95! Now all I have to find is discounts for Warwick castle.

If you don't want to know my opinion, don't ask for it!
  • I booked at Days Waterloo on Sat 25th for £89. Found the same room on HotelPronto.com for £64, so no small difference.

I filled in the claim form straight away, & got a reply on Monday saying:

"Please be assured that we have thoroughly reviewed your inquiry. While we were able to view the lower rate display, unfortunately that rate was not reservable when we attempted to book the rate. While a rate may be displayed on the website, in many cases such as this the rate has been sold out. If you believe there is a discrepancy, please provide us with additional information. We will gladly research this inquiry further."

So, I booked the room for £64, & e-mailed them with the Hotelpronto confirmation e-mail attached twice. :wall:

I've had no reply from them at all, & am absolutely disgusted with their service so far.

:j Yeah, perserverance paid off. It took them 2 days, but free room confirmation came through

I booked one night in a double room at the Days Inn Warwick (M40 Northbound) this past weekend. Their website quoted £52.50, while ActiveHotels.com could do the same room for £50! :D

I put in the claim form shortly after booking. It took 24 hours for them to respond, but I did get the room for free as per their guarantee - so the offer is still working.
  • Just booked a weekend in Dublin and put my claim in for the First night free (legitimately found a cheaper price through another website) and got the following back:

Guarantee applies only to reservations made at the Days Inn.com website or
the Days Inn toll free number for Days Inn hotels in the United States or
    Canada
. Guest must have a Days Inn reservation confirmation number.

Just wondering where I stand, as the only place they mention this is in the Terms and Conditions, yet they proudly boast "Guarenteed Best Rate Available....Or It's Free" all over their website...but only if you live in the US or Canada, obviously.

    Paolo
