Morning everyone :hello:
I'm going to be at a local school for work today, so I can actually log on here before I go! :j
I've taken some turkey strips out of the freezer so that we can have stir fry tonight. I'll also have to go to the supermarket after work today to ensure that we've got food for this week. Well, we're pretty desperate for milk, bread, fruit........
WM is on, so I'll take that out when I get back tonight and think about putting another load on.
See you later

Woke up early this morning and just couldn't relax or sleep, so ended getting up and reading a book... or trying to. Must be something on my mind, but can't work out what it is for the life of me. Well nothing new anyway.
Car being serviced today, hence my day off work. Need to go and drop it off in about 30 mins. When I get back I will put a load in, and think about what to have for tea. Tempted to have some soup and will make some bread to go with it.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Morning All,
Pouring with rain here and I have a driving lesson at 9.45,it will be my first time with lots of rain.
SO glad to be getting DD1 back to preschool, didnt realise just how much I appreciate those 2 1/2 hour sessions
Have just finished giving DH a bollocking over thep hone for not thinking about things properly. I got a lie in yesterday (will wonders never cease?). Came downstairs at 10.00 to find all 3 sprogs still in their jammies, the youngest 2 hadnt had a nappy change  and NONE of them had been given breakfast. Bearing in mind that it was the first day after the clocks changed their poor wee bellies thought it was 11am. They were starving.
Needless to say that DH was indeed dressed and fed. Sees to himself OK but not his kids.
Ever feel like you are just :wall: MEN!
MATH - CAN YOU PLEASE COME AND GIVE HIM SOME LESSONS????
So, have had the grovelling apology and promises to do more in future.
Veg soup in SC, only got the stock done yesterday so have put the veg in now, the house will be smelling yummy after my lesson
Right, off to get dressed and sort DD1 for school, havea good day all,

Morning all!
Washing done, hanging in airing cupboard
DW emptied
Bank account balanced
Actually I am a bit cross with myself today. Last night I took my grandma home, then when reversing out of her drive I managed to reverse into a car parked on the other side of the road!!
It's the second time I have done that, each time on a dark rainy night, when I can't see or judge distances properly. So I am more than a little annoyed.
The people whose car it was were very nice about it, apart from anything else I think they were pleased that I had knocked on the door to tell them and not driven off!
But I don't think I could, in all conscience, have driven off to the evening service in church without having told them. How hypocritical would that be?!
DH was not best pleased, but I don't think he's planning to trade me in for a newer model!0 -
Morning and a Happy Halloween
I'm off to work this morning, OH is looking after DD. Then going to do menu plan for November tonight as my grocery challenge starts tom. I have some coupon's and a T ecoupon so hoping to hit PIN target as well this month.
Right off to put WM on then off to work after another :coffee:
Have a great day all

Hiya,
Just about to head off to go shopping. It's nearly 7pm here. DH is coming with me. There goes the budget. A stressful shopping trip me thinks. He usually sulks the last bit anyway.:D I took Benny to the vet. He had to get an xray. The vet isn't really clear what it could be eitheras it looked ok. I have to give him drops to his gums each day which eases and muscular swellings & just wait and see if he improves. Thanks to all those who wished me well. He is 7 years old and we all love him dearly.
Best be off, hope you all have a nice halloween. We don't celebrate that over here. Although we have Melboune Cup Day tomorrow. After the vet bill I don't think I can afford a flutter this year.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Morning My Lovelies. :j
Been a long time since i posted on this so ill have to get my bearings back!!
Was up a bit early this morning, had a dream about a leopard print vampire (!!!!!!?) so i decided to do my hair and iron Mr Ancastas work clothes for him instead of doing it when he woke up. Had a hair dye mishap yesterday, it was meant to go light golden ash brown but instead it has gone "deepest darkest almost black brown" it looks lovley but im not that happy.
Tonight i have a friend coming round to watch scary tv shows, eat pizza and scare ourselves. Gonna head to asda to pick up some cheap pizzas and some cheap kiddies sweets if possible.
Our money situation has certainly perked up *alot* which has cheered me and OH up. Must get back into the routine of meal planning and writing shopping lists, although i havent veered too off the path while ive been away.
Will post back later once ive had my brekkie and morning coffee @ work.0 -
Morning all - Grey, wet and miserable here today.
Had great plans to get up early this morning - needless to say I missed the 6o'clock alarm and woke just in time for the 7am news!
DH went off to work early - amazing how much you can get done when they're not about! DD's still off today - so made them dust and hoover their rooms and the living room - they helped me unload and load the dishwasher and DD1 has put a wash going...they're getting good at this lark!
They're now dressing up in Halloween costumes (sending me on a guilt trip as we're not doing a party this year!!) We've got a pumpkin to carve later and some painting to do for some HM Xmas pressies for grandparents. Working this afternoon so have a chicken curry in the fridge ready to do for tonight (was actually supposed to be saturday nights dinner but we weren't hungry)
Washings washing - tumble will be tumbling (not used it over the weekend at all and had airers everywhere but the washing's still not dry as no heating on!)
Right I'm off for a 5 min read on here then jump into a bubbly bath for a 20min relax.
Have a good one all."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
