With the double points bonus at the moment, that's £1040 spend at Tesco for a free flight. Quite a lot by anybody's standards, but if you use a lot of petrol or can persuade friends/families not to use their clubcard ,but just give you their receipt, you can probably make that quite easily......

True, hadn't really thought of it like that. No different surely though to simply shopping doing their shopping at the same time as mine. Probably not in the spirit of clubcard, but Tesco are still getting the spend.
Also , more significantly, I think I undersestimated the required spend by a factor of ten.0 -

Does anyone know of any info comparing BA Miles and Airmiles indicating which is the best value...I have very little cash to use with these, but the ability to acquire lots of miles.Couponing....."every little hurts"

Have you previously converted to Airmiles, or would you get the offer of "double miles" for new customers...Couponing....."every little hurts"

So unless you can convert them to a fresh account, you are stuck with the 60 miles per £2.50..I just recently worked out that an £850 package holiday from Airmiles would cost me £295 in vouchers, and thats at the new 120 rate...giving a value of 2.88 times the voucher value, without the 120 rate it would only be 1.44 times the value...pretty poor...This equates to 14,160 Airmiles, try and work this out in BA miles to see which is the better deal.....
