You want muddle? I claim the Muddle Queen crown!! I've got an office I could use for crafts .... COVERED in old papers, dumped "stuff" etc .... so one of my challenges is to get it cleared out and working by end October [I do have other challenges going on as well, including building an entire kitchen and bathroom from scratch!]. Wish me luck.

Everyone is so inventive, it's very inspiring. Thanks everyone.

    Yeah can I join please???
That is the muddly crafty club!!

My daughter keeps asking when we are starting our crafting as I keep getting more and more stuff and parts of the house are overflowing and OH gets a bit grumpy when he comes home from work and he has to move all my stuff around eg the hobbycraft bag of bits was moved away from 'his' computer into the hall!!

Need to get organised especailly as I am waiting for my artymiss stuff to arrive, need it to come today as have stayed in all day so far and it's actually sunny here for a change plus I was meant to be camping but the weather looked c**p so changed my mind and just had a text from my mate saying they are there and on the beach and kids in the sea... slightly jealous now!! Maybe I can go tomorrow, but will miss my delivery if it doesn't come today! Oh dear yes I'm definitely in the muddly club of life I think!

I'd love it!! Im discovering there are lots of welshies lurking on MSE than i previously thought and i may actually be meeting up with one soon enough but would love to meet more.

Am hoping that if my little boys school has a christmas fete that i might get a little table and put a few bits and pieces on it - maybe a few small made up hampers and some soap reindeer, plus a few of the cakes/yule logs etc too to make it look nice
    Time to find me again

If others are claiming the Crown for Muddledom, then I am surely in the running for High Priestess of Cantfindits:p
    BUT!
How easy might it be to make an alphabetised folder, into which you could put a sheet of paper for each person you want to make something for, the idea of the gift & what you will need. Then as you get the different 'ingredients' together, you could write down how much it cost, where you bought it from, if you've seen something similar for a better price & more importantly where you've stashed it:D

When you're making it up you could make notes of how you did it, any short cuts & what you would change if you tried it again in the future...maybe even photos if you're that good

Methinks I'm going to invest in one of those plastic folders that's going cheap at the mo, what with all the back-to-school stuff, & put my theory into practiceSIZE=1]really:shhh: it's any excuse to buy stationary![/SIZE The only real problem I can see with this is if a potential recipient should go for a nosey, but it should be fairly easy to have a swift 'stock-check' before various trips to see what is still outstanding & make your gift shopping list from there.

    Wuddiya fink:confused:

BMF - good idea -if you can stick to it..............lol
I had a little notebook that I wrote everything I bought from the charity shops and how much it cost. Then at the back of the book when a birthday cropped up I listed what was to do into the box/basket and crossed it off the initial purchase list (that way I wouldn't think something had gone missing...................lol) Notebook is kept near computer so its handy and doesn't look interesting enough for anyone to want to have a look.
This is the first year I've done it.......................works up to a point & when I tot up what I've spent I feel quite pleased with myself...............lol
Problem I have now (having located missing flannels and other bags of 'stuff') I'm sure I should have more wicker baskets than I've got ! I bought 9 !!! Theres been two used for birthdays, one thats lying on the spare bed with stuff in for sons girlfriend..............so where are the others ????????How can I mislay 6 baskets, plus the boxes they came in ??????? Is there a rest home for people like me ?????

Probably, Mary - but if there is, then I'll be there... and you just know what the "craft afternoons" will be, don't you? Basket making! LOL
