socks and boxers sound strong possibility for grandson............I'm really scratching my head for novely stuff for him and if I coil them round so they have to be pulled up from the middle somehow he might find that a giggle.........or he'll think his nans lost the plot total :rotfl:

Mary I totally agree with you, the rain isn't getting rid of the muggyness (as if that is even a word) it is not good packing weather!! I'm dreading work tomorrow if it is as sticky as this.
I think my other half has got use to it as well, he just ignores me when I go into one of those dreamy crafty moods hehe. :D

poohzee - did think about survival kit but I've sorted out some jars for that as a possibility or a couple of little boxes I've got. I think the Twix tube would take a bit of filling up with stuff

Since I was about 11 I have had a book of quotations, poems, random facts etc that I have been compiling and a couple of times have made one for other people (wordy, reading types? and picked quotes to suit. The other day a friend reminded me of hers, years later. Seems to have gone down a treat :)
