kiera123 I bought that pad the other week. Never thought of using that instead. The flowers are really pretty, and the card is very thick.
Rainmac, of course I'll post a pic. I have got loads of things to do, I've got a few pics to post too. I'll try and get a bit done tomorrow, might post the pics later.

Thanks, that's good to hear. I've never tried anything crafty yet so this will be a good project :)

Hi Rusty, I went to Hobbycraft today and found brown pipecleaners - £1.49 for 25. I bought brown and beige as I googled reindeer images and some have brown antlers and some have beige. Let me know if you have trouble finding them, can always get them for you here and post.

Also bought red/green ribbons (ribbon section was fab, really spoilt for choice), wobbly eyes and red pom poms (only had these in a tiny size!). My pom poms are too small but I've made 2 reindeer so I could see what they looked like...don't have bells yet on the antlers!

See what I mean, noses need to be bigger! Hobbycraft didn't have any jingle bells so going to get them from ebay and look for bigger pom poms as well!

You got a good deal on the soaps! I bought 4 bars Tesco own for about 80p.

Also wanted to look at fleece in Hobbycraft but they don't sell it - thought they def would, am going to go to Dunelm like Shaz suggested and have a look there.

Awww Rainmac they look fab!!! Thanks for the picture. I will have to have a drive up the motorway and find the hobbycraft up there. I have stacks and stacks of ribbons from my nappy cakes and also the ones I use in my daughters hair.

Oh and just to let you know my little bells arrived this morning and they are fab! Think I gave you the link to the seller I used. Arrived in 2 days so can't complain about that.
I want to go make some reindeer now but have no antlers!!!

Ooooh whilst I remember wilkos sometimes do fairly big bags of pom poms in all kinds of colours and generally have quite a few red ones, then the rest you could let the kids use to decorate things for the family?

I ordered the same bells as you today so hopefully they will arrive soon and ordered some bigger pom poms so my reindeer soon won't look so silly :rotfl:

Think they make a fab pressie and are really easy to make.

They are called booboo bunnies and are designed to pop an ice cube in to be held on bumps, there is a little rhyme at the end to attach to the bunny.
