I bought a bog-standard, plain black, no frills photo album yesterday. I plan to find some gift paper that looks like turf--may even get lucky & get something that looks like a footie pitch:p --& use the stickers of his fav team [that I was supposed to put in his gift last crimbo] to decorate. Adding one of those disposable cameras & do you think that will be OK for a nearly 12yo?Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

Rainmac - lovely door hangers, imagine how much something like that would cost in the shops!
I've still got loads to do. I'm having trouble seeing at the minute, I've only got one contact lens in. I had to make a couple of cards yesterday for my brother-in-laws 21st birthday, and it was really hard to cut everything straight! I think I did ok!
BigMummaF - sounds like a great present for a 12 year old. I'm planning on doing a few mini scrapbooks of my kids for grandparents for xmas presents, but I thought decorated albums would be a good idea too. My sister-in-law has just had a baby, so I might do her a "my first xmas" scrapbook that she can put her own pictures in, (trouble is I haven't got any xmas scrapbooking stuff yet).0 -
I did photocards as well last year but as its rather hard to get my lads sitting nice I photoshopped it & printed onto thick photopaper with a message inside. Family & friends loved it.
If you want a nosey theres a copy of it hereYou cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0 -

P&p for these is rather ridiculous but if you shop around you would get cheaper. If you have a steady hand you could always use plain green paper/card and draw on a football pitch using white paint. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

 That postage is awful!!! If you are handy you could use some felt in green and then with a tipx pen or bottle of tipex mark on the white linesMaybe some red card and also yellow card cut into smaller card shape to represent believe it or not the red and yellow card ... right that is it ... my knowledge on football lol

Rainmac - my eye was killing me last night. I had to take the kens out as I think there was a hole in it. Then I lost it. I have an old pair of subscription sunglasses from about 5 years ago that I was wearing in bed so I could watch the tv, The OH thought it was hilarious. Got an opticians appointment on Friday, so hopefully I'll be back to normal then.0
