Sethsgran, some lovely stuff there, you are clever. I don't know which one I like best, sheldon or the hedgehog.0

I've had a great day today, went to a craft warehouse this morning and drooled over all the beautiful things!
I finally found my card boxes for Xmas - see pics below... They are by K&Co and each came with 8 patterned cards and envelopes, stickers and other embellishments. They were £4.99 each - such a bargain!
Pic of box tops...
Pic of box and contents...
I've then spent a couple of hours this afternoon (OH took DS1 & 2 to the outlaws) making the rest of the cards I needed for the contents of the boxes.
Pic of one box and cards I've made to go inside...
Pic of other box and cards I've made to go inside...
Each box contains 20 cards and themes include birthday (m&f); new baby; wedding; well done; good luck; retirement; thank you; thinking of you; get well; sorry; blank...think that's about covers it!
Hope you like them, I'm really pleased with them and they are my first presents that I've made myself for Xmas 2008! (ok, I didn't make the boxes but did make the contents - that still counts right).

Rainmac they are beautiful. A craft warehouse sounds like heaven to me. DD2 is visiting DD1 in America for the summer. I keep emailing them with lists of stuff I want her to bring home. DD1 loves craft and knows my taste so between them they keep picking up bargains for me. Apparently they have sent a parcel today so I can't wait. They got me some embroidery silks for my stitchery and they only cost 25c each!!
No I don't knit to sell I just make as gifts for grandchildren daughters etc. last christmas I knit Fiber Trends felted clogs for my son and his wife. He loves clothes and always looks great at first he laughed at them and then tried them on he loves them so quick to knit. I love felted knitting.

I know there is a huge bias towards floral/girlie stuff and not much in the way of masculine cards but I really struggle with male cards - popped in a couple of golf cards and one with ties on!:rotfl::wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

can I ask where the craft warehouse is, please?I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0

Rainmac the cards and boxes are great,
Just a thought how about including one of those little birthday books where you write everyones birthday in or do a sheet(glued in the lid maybe) the recipient can write on ?
