  • Some body on this site mentioned gifts in a jar so I am making some for my friend's new wife and my daughter in law and maybe for the dog trainer. My friend is getting a personalized calendar. His son is getting snow man soup.

maytaurus - thanks for the link. I;ve bought from them before......got a book on newspapers about Liverpool football for OH........he was thrilled to bits but the trouble was it was such a huge book........not something you could read without taking over the whole table..............lol
Love the memoribila packs...............and at a good price. Rather like the 1950's one.............I was growing up them and remember a lot of it. Might nudge OH about that for christmas................lol

Well, so far today I've covered two shoe boxes and done yet another 'safe keeping' jar..................not much but then I did have a phone call to tell me my old boss had died in car accident and it sort of threw me a bit.
So, think I can jiustify my 'plans' going a bit pear shaped.

    Still to do..........

flannel reindeer (got to find instructions again as I've lost them)
sock snowmen (third attempt at getting first one to actually look like snowman
Cut up 'facts in a jar'
Find and print our 'jokes' to put in a jar
    Finish off pickled bums
Stuff baby socks with lavender for teenage grandson to put in trainers
Two door hangers to start..........four to finish
    Handbag pegs for grandaughter
    Two notebooks to cover

Need to get some cheap diaries so I can cover them...............oh dear - and I thought I was so organised this year................
Haven''t even sorted out stuff in spare room yet for baskets:confused:
