What recourse do I have against bad landlords

Ah PayDay - there's a bit of a spiral here....you chuntering "pot kettle black" at Tozer over selective quoting whilst doing the same yourself. You seem to have missed the second part of Tozer's statement, which was to the effect that an agent's address is valid for the service of notices. Now that is a useful point and if you check the button out, you'll see that it says "the user says thanks for this useful post". You make reference to the "millions" of posts on this board confirming that a LL has to provide an address when requested to do so: my own posts saying exactly that are amongst them.
I said that you appeared "fractious" - that has nothing to do with "blaming others", it's a comment based on your recent posts : yesterday it was Tozer's turn to be on the receiving end of your abruptness, plus Pru & A.N.Other on a different thread, plus no doubt a couple of others somewhere else, and today it's obviously my turn.
I rarely see a post from you in which you acknowledge the validity of anyone else's viewpoints but all of us are of course free to post our thoughts in whatever manner we'd each like to adopt. However, to see your Violet Elizabeth style virtual foot stamping & muttering in corners because a couple of people have had the temerity to disagree with something you posted, and/or commented that you probably over-reacted without knowing all the facts, is both rather funny and rather sad at the same time.
I hope that you have a good weekend, and that something or someone manages to put a smile on your face.:D
It seems you really don't like people correcting you tsb.
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Yawn, yawn, yawn ........absolutely no problem with anyone correcting something that I post when or if I am wrong. However, what you are seeking to quibble over again and again is your personal view on the fact that I thanked one of Tozer's posts and the reason for that thanks.
Its' already up there for the record MissMAh PayDay - there's a bit of a spiral here....you chuntering "pot kettle black" at Tozer over selective quoting whilst doing the same yourself. There seem to be quite a few other threads where other posters have said this to you Miss MP : let's draw a line and move on shall we.0 -
tbs624 you could have been a man an apologised. Instead you decied to try to weasel out of it with various excuses, while also hurling insults at the messenger. The infornmation given by MissMoneypenny was correct as are most of her mails I have read. Your vindictive rantings tbs624 says a lot about the type of person you are.
I sincerely hope you don't treat your tenants like this, but I suspect you do. I was feeling a bit annoyed about why I may have to pay for Landlord Licensing on my rental property. Having read your posts, I am now all in favour of Landlord Licencing.0 -

I don't think tbs624 has said anything to warrant unfounded opinions as to what he is like as a landlord.
Anyway as has been said several times, lets just draw a line and move on!0 -

I'm sure in your demented state, you really believe that to be true.
If you have finished having your temper tantrum, then I am quite happy to draw a line under it.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
